Somehow, Favre gave his crazy jumpball completion mojo to Eli.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
I'm probably gonna go to jail soon for stabbing my cowboys coworkers and friends repeatedly in the face with a 13" prison shank fashioned out of a strip of scrap metal

Re: Around the NFL Week 1

Well I'm going to bed, looks like Dallas is going to win this game
2 td lead Romo looks great Nobody gave Dallas a chance in this game so whether you like it or not they deserve all the praise they're gonna get for this game Their center gets hurt and their off line still looks better than giants Demarco Murray is a beast also No I'm not a cowboy lover, hate them more then any other team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I didn't see the game that way at all. how can a team with a zillion false starts, and a quarterback with a handful of delay of games deserve all the praise they are gonna get. Giants gave away the game with awful cornerback play. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
I'm still rooting the Giants to lose. A tie would be OK too. I really think the Pukes are less a threat to go to the SB than the Ants are.
|
Can the giants make the stops in the clutch? Btw this team will not repeat
|
Giants d let them down tonight, no excuse to let Murray run wild like he did
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Ha...oh Justin Tryon
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
That would be game set and match. LOL TRYON.
|
Tryon is absolutely garbage he'll be cut soon. Wow
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
So remind me why we got rid of Tryon? Oh yeah.

Yeah I didn't see it either. Heck even their preseason play was bad. I figure we will win both games against Dallas and atleast one against the Giants. The Giants didn't look much better but again they usually start out slow and by the end of the season start playing better. Well I hope we all are ready for all the sports networks to start talking. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
You guys stop hating on Tony Romo. Dude had a fantastic game, and I'd take that type of QB play any day of the week.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
its one game fellas, 15 more to go for these teams. I'm not crowning or counting out anyone after this game. Time will tell how good these teams really are.

Get off that mans dick. Giants gave that game up. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
With the Cowboys, wake me in December. Giants looking like injuries on the OL and secondary are gonna be issues all year. Sean Locklear and Justin Tryon? WasTaylor Jacobs unavailable?
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
So look like things haven't change much between these two teams.
The Cowpukes will get their yearly hype by the media of being a SB team, blah, blah, blah. They'll suck towards the end and either miss the playoffs or be one and done. Meanwhile Giants will go on some slump at the beginning of the season. Around late October Coughlin will somehow be on the hot seat by the overreacting NY media. And they will go on their traditional late season winning streak. I must say, the first half was booooooooooooooooooring. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
The Giants played like crap and deserved to lose. They can't seem to win unless their back is completely against the wall and it's way too early for that. That one cowgirl TD where the receiver stopped and the 2 defenders stopped right beside him then he took off for the endzone was actually comical.

LOL yup, and if I'm not mistaken....they looked worse after the first game of the year last year.Remember it's a marathon....not a sprint. |

Nice post !! I can't stand dallass , would have loved to see them lose . Maybe the Browns pull of a big win on Sunday and put the dream team in hole to start off 2012 . |

i think there are plenty of questions about it, remind me again how many playoff victories romo has? does he show flashes of greatness, yes, is he great, no. he is a slightly above average qb in the nfl nothing more. dude just can't win when it counts, and honestly thats all that really matters. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Wow...the Romo fan boi's in this thread are making me gag.
Any Redskin fans on this board? |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Giants couldn't win even with a $5 million head start.

If you were referring to my post, I wasn't directly hating on Romo, in fact, I tend to think the delays are on Garrett, there were several times that the cowboys didn't break huddle till 7 seconds on the clock, and Romo had to scramble to get the ball off in time. I think he can tend to choke at moments but last night he played a good game, especially given how many times his team got called for holds or false starts on critical downs. I certainly was hoping that he would throw a pick six at the 2 minute mark of the 4th quarter, but he hit Ogletree for a critical 1st down instead. C'est la guerre. I still hate the cowboys, and think that any praise that they do get will be overblown. Especially given the giants were also down several linemen which cut into their strongest point - the DL Rotation |
