True, but the NFL is crazy this year. Teams are up and down and winning big than losing big, etc. So - the logic of this particular year says......Skins in a blowout. :)
I hope you right |
Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
How anybody can be confidant this will be a dominant win is beyond me.We havent won 2 in a row all season,we havent come close to dominating anybody. The only team we beat on the road is Oakland, whose defense just made Nick Foles look like the greatest qb of all time.
I wont be shocked if we win but I will be pleasantly surprised.I think Vikings win in a close game, probably decided by whoever wins on special teams.
Fair enough. It's a short week and anything can happen. I guess I'm inclined to think we're playing at a much better level than early on. I think we're finally getting in sync both offensively and defensively, and have the chance to put forth a solid product for the first time. Would I bet my house on the Skins this week? No. But I don't think I'm drinking the cool aid by predicting a solid win versus a team that hasn't tasted a victory yet in the USA. If there is one thing this defense has been successful at, it's stopping the #1 player. Take away AP, and Minnesota is garbage. |

Anyone catch the Randal Cunningham In the Life special on NFLN?
Kind scary that RGIII maybe following the same path. |

Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
it was a good show but I don't see RG3 going the same way plus I believe Griff is a betetr passer

Griff is going to torch their depleted secondary. |

I think more than anything he suffered from not having good coaching. He could really throw it as good as anyone but never seemed to get the nuances down to be a great QB. If he were playing today he'd be down right scary running read option. |
Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
It's another must win game. Hopefully we play like our backs are up against the wall.

Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
I hope to see RG3 blow up this Thursday night. A 4 TD performance would be ideal. He's due for a multiple TD performance to get the critics off his back. He deserves some of the blame for his performance, but only a little of it. That's obvious after the film watch.

I'd love to see griffin get 4-5 TDS

Isn't every skins game a must win?? |

Not according to how the team has prepared and played. I mean, we didn't go on a run last season until our backs were up against the wall. Maybe we do it again, but I agree with what you're saying I think...why don't we play to our potential the whole damn season?? |
Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
We win.. We can't afford not to.

Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
It would be nice to see a laugher for once. A solid (no contest) win on the road against anybody would go a long way towards righting the ship. A loss would simply prove that this just isn't a good team.

if RG3 doesn't have a career night throwing I'd be disappointed lol

Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
I predict snow in Minnesota. Other than that, I have no clue. But I'm hopeful.

Re: Minnesota Game -- Predictions
At the midway point, this is how some player stats project through 16 games by doubling their season first-half numbers:
RGIII 362/600, 60.3%, 4338 yards, 18 TD, 18 INT, 80.0 qbr Alfmo 266 rush, 1372 yards, 5.2 avg., 10 TD Garcon 108 recs., 1368 yards, 4 TD Reed 76 recs., 850 yards, 4 TD Riley 136 tackles Fletcher 130 tackles Kerrigan 13 sacks Orakpo 6 sacks Cofield 5 sacks defensive ends combined 0 sacks DHall 6 ints. Amerson 4 ints. Reed is balling for a rookie. Alfmo, Garcon, and Kerrigan are just balling. |
Griffin will end up with 24 tds 15 ints IMO

I think without a doubt the biggest disappointing number to me (other than wins) is Griffin's INT's. I certainly hope he gets those under control, without playing the captain checkdown roll. |
