Re: Which other NFL HC's should be fired?
Kiffen should be run out of town. Marinelli deserves a pay raise. For what he had to work with all season, Marinelli did a great job.
Marinelli is a fantastic defensive coach and worked serious miracles with the shit show that Dallas had most of the year on that line. I liked him from his time in Detroit. No talent, no excuses, got up there after every loss, every week and owned it. If they don't at least consider him for the DC job in Dallas, I'd absolutely love to have him here in any capacity. |
Louis Delmas, he is one of the better safeties in the NFL. He is better than anything Washington has that is for sure.
I agree there, but I just see him as an average to above average safety |

Delmas is a serviceable safety when healthy. And that's really all I can say about him. If he would be the best safety on the Redskins that's a pretty damning indictment of your secondary. And on the subject of coaches that SHOULD have been fired, I can't believe Jerruh kept the Red Robot. Cowboys fans better hope JJ doesn't live to be in his 90s, because if he does, whooo boy they are screwed. |

Alas, he would be our best safety. |
As I see it three pieces are needed:
1) A competent coach 2) A true #2 WR (seriously, our receiving corps sans Megatron is a joke) 3) Get Stafford to improve his mechanics and turnovers (no more sidearm crap)
Lions are stacked at WR. |
To me, having a QB in place is a big deal. That's why I ranked DET and WAS 1-2. But I can understand why others might rank the HOU and CLE jobs ahead of WAS.
I think what makes Houston attractive is that the coach/gm will be able to select their own QB with the number one pick. Kind of like the Colts 2 years ago. |

Yay? We can't have David Shaw and O'Brien is going to the Texans. Jay Gruden or bust? |

Eh, Todd Bowles would be a good choice and there are plenty more solid coaches out there. |

Giants getting ready to give Coughlin an extension ,Kevin Gilbride will most likely be replaced by Mike Sullivan formally of Tampa Bay .

Saw that also. Didn't remember Lovie had ties to Tampa. I'd take DC over Tampa in a heartbeat. Florida sucks lol. |
Please that Garrett has been retained. Continuing mediocrity in Dallas.
