We are 3rd most in man-games lost, but I guess I don't get how this site ranks value of players lost, I mean I would think we have lost a lot of valuable players, from DJax to Reed, etc, but this graph, and the corresponding data shows the value of the players lost as 20th in the league. Indy is highest, and Dallas is 5th, with Dallas losing it's qb and star receiver.

Still pretty interesting graphic and site

Not sure this site counts Paul and Gallette.

1. Junior Gallette
2. Chris Culliver
3. DHall
4. Ihenacho

5. Niles Paul
6. Trent Williams
7. Shaun Lavau (given up trying to spell his name right)
8. Corey Licht
9. Jordan Reed
10 D Jax

We really have 10 starters out this game.

I'm counting Reed and Paul as starters because DYoung has taken so few snaps this year.

Our base is basically a two TE set.

Paulson doesn't make the starting list but hurts, he is mediocre. Carrier is inconsistent and has made some plays as a receiver but can't block and has been blown up on a lot of run plays.

McCoy sucks at everything. I'm not sure he fully knows the offense.

It's the NFL, supposed to be next man up and all that but geez we are in a tough spot.

Agree...the top crop coming into this year has been underwhelming. I'm with u Meks. Always wonder if a team like the lions are ready to give up and move on...

I think Breeland and Culliver are our best CB's, especially Breeland. I really don't think Ihenacho is anything special, the other 8 I miss.

yeah I watch CFB as well (Live in Norman ok) and I don't see many big time qbs, Goff looks ok but eh.... I just don't see Kirk being the guy next yr, hopefully I'm wrong but idk..
True but defenses have got to know KC can't really get him the deep ball with any regularity. Again, I rather have Reed back for short yard passes and his yards after the catch.

I am willing to bet when DJAX came available if McLovin was here DJAX would not be a Skin.
how can you say that? Jackson played all of a half of a game and pulled up lame on a long pass that would most likely have been a TD had he not pulled his hammy . . . last year, when playing together Cousins and Jackson were great on connecting up for long passes . . . it was their strength

People holding their breath for Djax are kidding themselves

Re: Skins vs J E T S preview

Yep him and reed both. U look around the nfl and yeah there are injuries but my god it seems like the skins have the softest players, we are down like 7 starters tomorrow wtf. Hell if we win tomorrow (highly doubtful) it would be one great coaching job

Re: Skins vs J E T S preview

I have never seen anything like this..but you have to remember the concussion protocol is something new..i wonder how many super bowls the skins would have went to if they had that back then? Guys played really hurt back in the day ..but later in life they are paying for it. The NFL is changing and I won't be surprised if at some point the game will be hard to recognize as the game we grew up with back in the 70's - 80's..Look around the league A lot of star players are out..Romo,Bryant ..as much as i don't like dallas i hate to see all these injuries..now we are getting hammered..geez. I really don't like our chances at Jets..

The Giants better win the div this yr because its almost handed to them at this point, hell is Reed even going to come back???

Re: Skins vs J E T S preview

Just having DJax in the game opens up the defense and prevents the "8 in the box" defense that has been slowing down our run game. Cousins has the arm to get it to out to DJax on the long passes, he just still isn't completely in synch with his receivers - often throwing short, long, low, high passes. His receivers are open, its a matter of getting it to them. The key to this game is KC's passing game and whether Djax can play at least some of the time. We can win this game.

Re: Skins vs J E T S preview

I wonder if DJAX plays at all this season. Seems pretty fishy. I also don't think he is brought back next year. He has the durability of a wet paper bag. Once again the eagles look pretty smart in getting rid of a guy that they seem to have known was on the down hill...

Re: Skins vs J E T S preview

Not going to predict a win but I am confident that the coaches have a game plan to keep the skins competitive. I am thinking we are going to see some RB screens and RB receptions. We will miss Reed as a catching TE would be able to exploit their LBs. Furthermore I don't have confidence that Fitzpatrick has the ability to flat out lay 28 on us.

Matt Jones out.. This is crazy!! This game might be over at halftime with our JV team on the field.. I wonder if Jay and all the coaches will sit this one out as well..

Re: Skins vs J E T S preview

Lmao man this shit is a joke now, jones, trent, djax, reed Kory L, all out hahaha. There is no chance we win this game folks not with the jets defense. I doubt we score 14 today. Smh

Seriously. My biggest concern is Trent but Ty Nsekhe is a S.M. pick up and he has been quality with his pick ups thus far. Not saying this is a win but I am far from this is over before it starts.

Ok we don't need to play the game, Madden has us winning a close one.. I'll take it.

I'm afraid the Jets' D will use McRib as a tool to hit Kirk with.
