I'm hoping for sack-fumbles by the defense and our offense by provided with excellent field position. The Redskins can get after the quarterback and create turnovers.

Re: It's Dallas week Mother Fu#&ers!!

This is one of those games where I think the first quarter is pivotal. If you can jump out to a 10-0 lead, something that alters the way the Cowboys have to approach their offensive attack then I think they can be buried early. A big turnover, a pick 6 perhaps? Something demoralizing early.

On the contrary, if you let them hang around and suddenly it's a one possession game in the 4th quarter, I would still be worried because despite the QB being Cassel, they do have weapons on that offense that could torch our secondary in the right situation.

JoeRedskin 12-04-2015 10:55 AM

Re: It's Dallas week Mother Fu#&ers!!

Cassel won games with worse talent than what the Cowboys have now. It can happen. Skins better have their hate on.

Any update on Perry Riley?
Any update on Perry Riley?
Redskins head coach Jay Gruden announced Friday that Riley will have surgery on his foot that will sideline him for three to six weeks. Per the Washington Post's Mike Jones, the injury is to the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.

According to Jones, the Redskins are preparing as if Mason Foster will start at inside linebacker, because Keenan Robinson, who ranks second among linebackers in tackles, is dealing with a shoulder issue. Foster has appeared in eight games this season, not starting any while recording just two assisted tackles.

In four seasons in Tampa Bay, Foster would amass 343 tackles with 12 passes defensed, six sacks, five interceptions, two touchdowns and two fumbles forced.

Hes a Scot find, released by the bears on sept 5. 3rd round pick in 2011 by Tampa. dude has a lot of starting time for a 26 yr old guy snagged off waiver wire.

Re: It's Dallas week Mother Fu#&ers!!

Well so far Blackmon and Dunbar have been diamonds in the rough who have excelled almost out of nowhere for us. Let's hope Mason Foster is another one.

We're playing at home and with Romo out, we should do well. Cousins needs to be sharp and he needs to direct the ball to an outstanding Desean Jackson. Looking so forward to this - the whole family's coming over for dinner and the game.

I'd be shocked if we lose this game, dallas can't do shit without tony, if we stop the run we win the game unless we just have a ton of tos.

Re: It's Dallas week Mother Fu#&ers!!

So Trenton Robinson was waived due to injury, with the hopes of claiming him back and put him on IR if no one claims him. The skins promoted ILB Carlos Fields from the PS to the roster to take his place.

Here's some info on Fields:

Just saw this on F.O.

Our Special Teams are officially good:

FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2015 SPECIAL TEAMS RATINGS

This is directly related to McLovin bringing in talent to fill the ranks and is a good indication we are gaining quality depth.

I know that DHall is using newspaper clippings as bulletin board material these days. I hope he includes one about Romo not being done for the year and says: "This is how little the Cowboys respect us. They haven't put their QB who has broken his collarbone 187 times this season on IR to save him for the playoffs. So those assholes not only think they will win in our house on Monday, but think that sweeping us this year is a lock. You wanna earn respect? Me too. It's called a beat down."

Man, I hate Dallas so much. I'd love to see us deliver a soul-crushing loss that they'll feel well into next season.

Well I don't see this as disrespect. They will probably IR him once they are officially eliminated. Not the case right now.

If I play on the Redskins, I'd chose to see it differently. The Pukes need to win out to make the playoffs most likely which means sweeping the Skins. And so keeping Romo available implicitly assumes this possibility - and I'd use it as motivation.

Spouses, even the most understanding ones, aren't going to get this. If we try to explain, we will be labeled children. But I could care less - we know how important it is, and this is an elegant expression of the passion for the game. And I'm sticking with that.

Re: It's Dallas week Mother Fu#&ers!!

The Cowgirls are not a gimme! This is the time for the Skins to step up, like men. Just like they jumped on the Giants, they need to do the same to the Cowgirls. Don't give them any hope. None of the national media is giving the Redskins any respect. All they are talking about is how the Cowgirls will be one game out of first place and the Giants, Eagles and Skins will be tied. They are not even considering the Redskins taking control of the division. I've yet to hear anyone say something positive about the Skins. The Skins need to go out and show everyone who rules the NFC East.

Dallas won't lie down for us. Forget that Romo isn't playing. These are the Dallas Cowboys. They have been known to beat us before without their starting quarterback ala Clint Longley.

But I know that the Redskins will win.

The Giants lost, Philly won, and the Skins are playing their biggest rival to stay in first place and maintain control of the division. Its time to put up or shut up so if things really are different this year prove it once and for all by blasting the Cowgirls on MNF for all to see. Its now or never!

I'm running with the "this game scares me crowd".This is the perfect setting for a "trap" game for the Skins.Take sole possession of first place, against the cowboys who havent won a game without Romo, playing at home in prime time.
I wont be shocked if we lose,I will be shocked if we win.Redskins always seem to shit the bed in these spots, and Dallas has beat our best redskin teams of all time when they{cowboys} we're at their worst.
Has Cousins won a game or even played well in a prime time game?

This game has my b-hole seriously puckered. SO MANY blowout losses yesterday for home teams. It's time to buck the trend, but this has bad news written all over it.

That said, Dallas can suck an egg.
