Other than 1 inning now, the Nats have looked like a deer in the headlights at the plate. They don't deserve to be here, from my vantage point it looks like the hype and pressure of the playoffs is fucking with them. I mean how many times do you have to watch them stare down strikes before you realize they aren't identifying pitches correctly. If they keep playing like this they deserve elimination.

Cubs pitching hasn't been good this year...Top 4 bats in the line up aren't hitting at all...

0-16 at the plate last night. It's absolutely ridiculous. And you're right, they're making the Cubs pitchers look like Cy Young winners every night.

It is so strange. Is Strasburg just that much of a diva/headcase that if his allergies are up he can't pitch? In a deciding playoff game?? Or is it more to it. Outside of him going out and dominating the game today, IF he does pitch, his reputation in DC is tarnished for good now.

Strasburg has been a beast down the stretch too. He's pitching great, I don't get it.

Dusty Baker did nothing to quiet the storm..his lil speech or explanation really sounded crazy. He should have just given a Bilicheck answer...the way he just continued to talk threw his player under the bus. I thought it was wreckless by Baker.

Max blew it with an assist Gio weak ass start. Tanner woulda pitched better...just pathetic control issue with gio. Same ole shit. I hope they add a starter and long bullpen relief in the offseason

That loss was brutal. Nats just can't seems to get over the hump. So frustrating. As for Dusty, he made so many bad moves this series that I don't even know how they can bring him back.

Baker doesn't move the needle...and that whole explanation about the Strasburg thing? Is anybody on the same page in that effing organization?

They really need to come together and find the systemic problem within the organization that they cant win a playoff series. Its time to address it.

Until further notice dc sports is cursed in the playoffs. We could dominate the regular season and I still wouldn't have any faith. Idc if Baker comes or goes, but if he does walk they better not go with a young up and comer. Harper is on his last year here, it's now or never.

Winning over the course of 162 games doesn't get you much these days. It's all about playoffs. Dusty stepped in a big pile of manure in the Cubs series, but he could have gotten a little more help from his bats. Now we're becoming chronically unstable, which is what made the Skins lousy under Snyder.

Im damn proud of my boys. Great season. Great experience. Yankees not only have a good young team on the field but a whole other slew of guys ready to come up now also. That is the difference between us and Houston. We are right there with them now but we will be better going forward. Thanks to Cashmans ability to buy and sell over the last couple years. Great moves, great scouts, great manager. When this team wins five more rings over the next several years i dont want to hear any moaning about them buying championships. But haters gonna hate. Lol.
