Thanks me could argue best. So consistent. Seems to exude leadership too. I can’t fathom what the Bills were thinking letting him go. Can we teach Ryan Anderson to go inside LB and get that position locked down? I know they’re different but the physical requirements shouldn’t be terribly so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nick Saban thinks so. This article is from seccountry.com in January, 2017: "Nick Saban thinks former Alabama LB Ryan Anderson may switch positions when he gets to the NFL. Anderson played outside linebacker for the Crimson Tide. He was a fairly talented pass rusher off the edge, amassing 19.0 career sacks, including 8.5 in 2016. But at the Senior Bowl this week, Saban reportedly said Anderson’s future may be in the middle of the defense as an inside linebacker. Anderson is listed at 6-foot-2 and 253 pounds. As a result, he may be too small to be an elite pass rushing outside linebacker like Von Miller, Khalil Mack or Vic Beasley. However, he has good speed to cover ground as an inside linebacker. Saban knows he can make plays in the backfield. He had 39.5 career tackles for loss at Alabama. Letting him play in the box and fill running lanes may be the best way to use him. Anderson had 61 tackles, 31 unassisted, in 2016 as an edge player. And those numbers could skyrocket as an inside linebacker." |
Sometimes the draft status and/or money paid to players buys them more chances over guys like Davis. I'm excited to see him play.
Agreed. When you see how long it took them to play Brian Quick, you can hope Davis plays better than Pryor at the very least. I do think WR coaching is to question though. |

Wouldnt be surprised if our game gets moved/bumped/something with the wild fires in the area. Mostly north of the city it seems but there is one southeast of the stadium. Makes no sense. I feel like writers just publish shit to meet their deadline without actually doing any thinking. Yes it's true that moves to find replacements for players on IR have cut into available cap space. Yes that makes it harder to sign Brown now. But that doesn't mean they can't talk terms, agree, and then sign the paperwork on January 2 when the season ends. Just because he hasn't signed doesn't mean they don't have a construct in place. |

Re: On to San Diego, I mean LA...
Just watched the condensed version of the Chargers @ Cowboys game...
I'll tell you what, I've always been among the most optimistic around here, but I don't really see how we could pull this one of. Yes they don't run the ball well, but they don't need to because their O-line pass protects amazingly well: they're the least sacked team in the league right now, and the second passing team (y/g). With how poor our pass rush has played the last few weeks, I could see us getting just gashed. They are also a pretty solid D: 4th sacking team in the league... This is going to be a long afternoon for Kirk. Our only hope is the running game, they are not a good run D. With all that said, it's football, anything can happen, and we're still the team that should've beat the Saints. |

Our only chance is if Rivers is just off but that rarely happens. Kirk will have to throw for 400 yards for us to win and he doesn't have the weapons to do that |

Redskins are 7-3 lifetime vs the chargers and love to play in LA. 10 days rest should help, taking my team.

Re: On to San Diego, I mean LA...
If Charger fans are watching the Redskins/Raiders game, they are going to be worried.
These same Chargers are 6-6 for the season so they are as unpredictable as the Redskins. They are 1-3 against common opponents (Chiefs, Eagles and Cowboys) while we are 0-3. Rivers will throw INTs, lots of them. We need to get a couple early.
Just watched the condensed version of the Chargers @ Cowboys game... Re: On to San Diego, I mean LA...
Cant lie .. im hoping we close out 1-3 or worse. Given that Kirk is most likely walking and there being 3-5 decent QB prospects, top 12 pick would be nice.
Odd feeling. This team could have been legit, moving in right direction but injuries killed this season and losing Kirk kills any hope for the next 2 seasons. ------------------------------------------ Kind frustrating reading other fans takes on your team. "If you wanna look at it that way though, a below average QB in Prescott shredded that Redskins D, what would an above average QB in Rivers do??" - Dak went 11/22 for 102 yds and 2 tds ... "The problem I see is Cousins is a darn good qb 3 yards behind Rivers, they have 3 very good receivers and a very good running back, we haven't beaten any teams this year with their talent. I hope we prove Sunday that they can, I'm nervous about this game !" - what 3 receivers? who is this very good running back? WTF .. "The Redskins have been ravaged by injuries in 2017 the same way that the Chargers were in 2016." "It won’t be anywhere close to being an easy game, but the Redskins barely resemble the team that they were before injuries decimated their roster." - a sensible poster, thank you good sir https://forums.chargers.com/showthread.php?t=106705&page=9 there comments arent that far off actually .. juts looking to hat |

Melvin Gordon had eight fumbles in his first two seasons, but according to ESPN Stats & Information now leads the NFL with 249 touches this season without a fumble.

Yop, nothing there to think he's somehow injury prone, he simply took a sick hit. Honestly I was quite shocked he returned to the game. Let him rest, he'll ball for us next year. DB is not the squad I'm worried about anyway... |

They had said that once we are eliminated, that if the skins are 100% sure that they want Cousins to be their long term guy, then they rest him too, to protect him from injury. But if they are still on the fence then you keep him out there to A) continue to judge him, and B) let him audition basically for other teams so you can try and trade him,etc.. I might be wrong, but i think that even if we lose today, we are not mathematically eliminated, i saw a playoff scenario generator that has the skins making the playoffs at both 9-7 and 8-8, but i believe both scenarios end up getting a lot of help from other teams. |
