Re: Around the NFL Week 10
People stop talking about Bowles, he's done Jack shit in NY. He's supposed to he a defensive Guru and they are bad. As for us, I don't care about the Offense anymore until the off season. Just run the ball, use some play action and don't turn it over. 20 is the ceiling for this group.
Is this sarcasm? His team just let the Bills to put up 41 points on them.
I think he is one of those guys that is in over his head as a HC but is a really good coordinator. Norv Turner, Josh McDaniels, Gregg Williams, Wade Phillips... I don't particularly care for Manusky. I think there are too many huge breakdowns. I have no idea what the cause is, communication, or trying to get too complicated. We don't see that many on a well coached team. AND, it's just like, my opinion, man. |

Russell Wilson is so good. He's gotten way better over the last couple yrs

There is no one more annoying to watch in the NFL than Russell Wilson. Pretty good weekend for Skins playoff chances. Sean McVay, 9-1.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Amazing how the experts never want to give up on Dallas... they’re probably 3-6 after tonight but they’re never done

Dallas came to play tonight.
Eagles look like garbage especially on defense |

I recall hearing some here saying, what has Vrable done? Well, what do you have to say now? Matt Lafleur former Redskins assistant and OC for the Titans could be a hot coach in the off-season.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Totally on board with a Dallas win. Sort of just want them buried, but a two game lead over both these teams would be nice. Dallas @ Atlanta and Birds @ NO. They could both be 4-6 and if we can somehow pull another win out of our asses be 7-3. Three game lead with 6 to go.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
That game last night said more about the eagles than the boys. Eagles have been a supreme disappointment this year and prove .this division much closer than apart. There is no class of the division...for each team there is no room for error...each team is flawed in some way.
While I’ll enjoy a 2 game lead...anything can happen. We need to win ugly, so expect ugly...one way or the other. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Josh Norman is right...and once again, Snyder and Bruce are to blame. Fed ex is a shit stadium and poor fan experience. Tear it the fuck down.

Not saying you're wrong but build what and where? The pricey PSL's will kill alot of the "fan experience". The Old Giants stadium was a great place to watch a game you could see from any seat. The New place is crap ,seats are smaller so you're closer together and there are more bars so ....yes more obnoxious drunks and the prices are insane many people only go to a game or two and then sell the rest to pay for the season tickets so that wipes out the "home field feeling". Now add in the cost of breaking the lease which I think has another 6-7 years on it with the State of Maryland and that is a hell of a cost added on to a new place that will be in the 1.5/2 billion dollar range ...or more. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 10
We have the 2nd easiest schedule left, Jags and NYG are wins unless something crazy happens. So that is 8 right there, if we can beat Hou and either Dal or Philly, we have 10 wins and will win the east.

Well what has he done? Nice win yesterday but they’re 5-4 on the year. They were 6-3 at this time last year. |

Houston is playing well, we will have our hands full. Another team coming off a bye too. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Eagles losing jay ajayi is similar to us if we lost AP...everyone talks wentz, ertz,
Jefferies....but the eagles were a top rushing team which was the only way they got to the super bowl. Oh and the eagles have a hard time stopping the run. Hence the struggles....it ain’t hard folks: Run the ball and stop the run |

Titans are 30th in the league in total offense, even worse than our sorry O. So I'd say he hasn't done much, they are much like us, run the ball and limit TO's. Mariota is good when he's not hurt and that is often. |

You can't just "tear down" Fed Ex, unless they plan on playing at Byrd stadium. (Might not be a bad idea). Fed Ex is gone as soon as the leases allow it. Unfortunately Jack Kent Cooke didn't leave this world with the Redskins in a good place. :( |
Re: Around the NFL Week 10
Jalen Ramsey is a locker room cancer, "You'll miss me when I leave here" who says that? lol , the Jags are so bad, and many had them a SB contender this yr. Talk about a one yr wonder

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
"The Cowboys are alive again"
LOL The media just loves them so much, it's so sad that a 4-5 team gets this much hype. I hope they lose to ATL so this can go away. |

The reason its a shit stadium is because of the Skins poor performance on the field over the years. I remember when its was new and packed with pretty much skins fans only. Now the stadium is 3/4 full and half of the people are for the visiting team. If we were winning all the time and FedEx was packed with only skin fans then no one would be complaining. |

They are done, the run d isn't great either. SB Hangover plus injuries have killed them |
Re: Around the NFL Week 10
just how old and bad is the redskins stadium? i told my uncle, who is a prison guard in Baltimore i was going to go to a skins game and would hit him up when i got close. his reply is why the f would you wanna go to that stadium lol.
ps. typing f in extreme skins gets you banned:embarrass |

That is only part of it. It is a difficult stadium to get to, the upper level feels remote and disconnected from the experience, leaving is god awful. I live outside of Baltimore and it is faster for me to go see the Skins play in Philly than it is at Fed Ex. There are far more recreational opportunities now than when the stadium was built too. Recreational dollars are limited and the experience matters. |

Both Cooper Kupp (Rams) and Marvin Jones (Lions) are out for the year with torn ACLs. Rams should be okay since they are loaded at receiver, but the Lions' are probably done (if they weren't already). |

Oops, you are correct. Here is the text from Schefty: "Tests showed that Lions’ WR Marvin Jones’ ACL and MCL are intact, but he did sustain a bone bruise and will be considered day to day, per source." |
