A.J. Brown

Terry doesnt like the nickname Scary Terry. He said its not original or unique and hes hoping something cooler and uniquer sticks with him as his nick name.

edit -- needs 167 yards to crack 1000 for his rookie campaign. 32nd in receiving yards, right ahead of fellow rookie DK Metcalf. Terry has missed 1 game this year. 7th in the league w a 16.3 yard per catch average.

I've heard TD Terry as well but either way the dude is a baller

I like-TD Terry, has a good ring to it.this young man is special and if Snyder actually gets a coach who knows what he's doing-the sky is the limit for Terry and Haskins too!!

Terry been great...Sims is improving but you can easily see his potential....we need to find a TE and then a speed guy to throw on the other side of Terry. I like Harmon, but we need a little more speed

Terry ran a 4.35 40. I thought he was our speed guy. And our possession guy. And our move the chains guy. and our block down field guy. and our big play guy.

He has such strong hands, I wonder what his hand measurements are .... (looked them up, dang hes got small hands, short arms, small wingspan .... I guess these measurables are why he was avail to us)

He is our everything guy, it would be nice to have another on the opposite side of him.

Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs, Justin Jefferson. Any of these work

You are right he is our everything guy. And he is a big play guy, but while he can get down the field but we need a faster threat opposite him to take some coverage off him deep. Teams are shading him too much with over the top coverage. Harmon is a good receiver but teams know he can’t run by anybody.

edit .. Terry doesnt like the nickname "Scary Terry". He knows nicknames have to come organically but he hopes we give him a better nick name.

Yeah some of those replay angles showed he had to track the ball in a very difficult way. he had to almost take his eyes off the ball as it came down to switch his angle/head position. Desean Jackson-esque tracking.

that rainbow should have been an int though

Heinicke said he could have thrown a better ball...but Terry...he said he doesn't even remember a defender being there. That's how hard he was concentrating on tracking the ball in.

He came flying from far away I suppose.

I love this fucking man!!

I don't have a daughter, but if I did, he would be the standard for the kind of guy I'd want her to date.

He's just a fantastic human and a bad ass motherfucking football player.

Full package on and off the field.

I believe we can extend him this off-season. Give him ALL OF THE MONEY!!

McLaurin was mic'd up on that catch against the Chargers, said it was the hardest catch he ever had to make, and went on to explain what he did. Pretty cool in the moment reaction.

We really don't know folks behind close doors. Not saying terry is bad person just people tend to think they know the real person; we just see glimpses of him.

A Ravens fan could have easily wrote what you just did about Terry in regards to Ray Rice prior to his incident. Ray was the toast of the town back then.

I totally agree and i hope he is a good person.

Just a pet peeve of mine when folks think what they see on the field is who that person really is.

And 'good' is a relative term, everyone has a different opinion of good.

I'd like to think all of the players on our team are of upstanding moral character, but we all know that ain't the case. There's always at least one.

In the meantime Terry really comes across as humble. They voted him in as captain his rookie year after Haskins was stripped. You don't get that as a rookie unless you really are leading with your work ethic (qb is the exception).

My post was after his post-game interview. Your point still applies. But I'd bet all my money that what we see is what we get. That being said, he could be somewhere getting a "massage" right now.

I'd rather he get a consensual handie than be out there pulling a Watson (if the allegations are true) or worse - a Darren Sharper.

Adding to the Terry praise:

@FieldYates
Washington WR Terry McLaurin currently owns the longest streak of targets without a drop. He's seen 190 straight targets and hauled in 128 consecutive catches without a drop. And he routinely makes difficult/absurd catches. What a player.

Maybe that doesn’t count when the pass was broken up by the defender?

Re: Scary terry
Didn't he have a drop against ATL late in the game?
Maybe the one where the ball was high and he got crunched.

What is the official definition of a "drop"?

-----
Hank Gargiulo of ESPN Stats & Information passed along the written standard our game charters rely upon to reduce subjectivity.

This standard says drops are "incomplete passes where the receiver SHOULD have caught the pass with ORDINARY effort."

Basically, we're talking about blatant drops, not the ones where your old man leans over and says anything that grazed the receiver anywhere was a drop in his day.

"Only use this if the receiver is 100 percent at fault and no one else can be blamed for the incompletion," ESPN tells its game charters. "Pass interference that wasn't called/passes thrown just outside the receiver's reach, etc., are NOT drops."

I dont care what the definition of a drop is. You drop one in the fourth quarter of a tight game its bye bye city. Dont care what you have done, how great you have been, how much character you have, if you are the best weapon we have, or how young you are. You are gone.

I’ll tell you what a joke is. A joke is an organization that keeps a fuckin guy that drops a pass in the fourth quarter of a close game.

Totally joking. Too fun. I can’t even imagine McClaurin ever dropping a legit good throw. Man did we hit the jackpot with him or what? Could go down as one of the greatest third round picks of all time.
Totally forgot I posted that. Would have let it go for a while to see if anyone was buying it but it is way too ridiculous…..

Yeah well you fucking jinxed us now.

Terry is gonna drop a pass in the 4th quarter of a closely contested game now.

Thanks for nothing jerk.
