Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
We're (unfortunately) going to win this game easily as the Dolphins move 1 step closer to the # 1 pick. But they're taking a QB so as long as we get # 2 we should be able to get a great player or a lot of good trade options.
We need the Jets and Bengals to start winning. |
Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
Who cares? There is no good reason to watch...and yet ill probably tune in.
|
Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
Skins are bad, Dolphins are awful. Skins should find a way to win this battle of the losers 20-17 or so.

That is something I have struggled to understand. Like everyone else, I am really fed up with Snyder, and I want to stop watching Redskins games from now on and yet I keep watching it. Only connection to Redskins I have is my family, they are the reason why I decided to root for Redskins when I started watching football when I was a kid. I have tried to find different teams to root for, Texans or Chargers were the teams I tried to root for but I always find myself going back to Redskins. It's just really weird.. |
Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
I'm not convinced the skins will best anyone. I'm reminded of Howard sterns "private parts" when I watch a game anymore. "

Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
Sad part is the Skins actually have talent

This team is 1-11 since Alex Smith went down. This is probably the only game this season the Redskins are favored to win. Why would a real fan want to miss a rare victory? |

Except for the O-line, and it all begins in the trenches. |
Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
24-17
Redskins win but I wish we didnt. Im on the 0-16 train. |
Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
This game was a perfect time to fire Gruden, BA can hold a win up as a shining example of how the losses were all Jay's fault.

When it comes down too it...I love football period. Its a great game...strategy, athletes, fandom, excitement, stats, personality, physicality, drama...its the best sport. So Sunday is the day of rest as well...so no better way than to relax. Even though its painful, Ill watch my favorite team...but ill turn it off or switch channels to other game. |
Re: Skins / Phins = Battle of the Bad
I'm trying to not let the Redskins ruin my Sundays. I'll still watch but lately I've been watching games a Vietnamese Coffee Shops that have little tiny asians with giant fake tits serving strong coffee and wardrobe malfunctions.

Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
Redskins RB Adrian Peterson said this was the best week of practice since he joined the team last year. Yes, you could say he's a bit reborn.
Not a surprise seeing as Jay wanted to let AD walk lol |

Who knows if it will be enough to make the Skins watchable, but the players and coaches all had checked out of the organization. I want to watch this week to see if that assessment is accurate. Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
First the Caps win a title, then the Nats win an amazeballs game 5 to advance to the NLCS, then the Mystics win a title...
Dan Snyder must be raging on his yacht right now. |
Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
This is just too funny.

That's making the rounds on FB lol.
Also saw this on Reddit, made me lol.
The Mystics won the championship The nationals advanced to the NLCS for the first time in history The Caps won the cup two years ago and have one of the greatest hockey players ever The Redskins DC United is about to make the playoffs The wizards aren’t good now but have a new gm who has made some solid moves so far and have some nice young pieces
|

Good article on the dumpster bowl preview here, with some interesting insights of how they got into this position. I loved this analogy in particular:
Washington is like that executive from Sears who, after years of ignoring the steamrolling threat of e-commerce, holds a meeting and fires anyone working for the web team. Folks, brick and mortar is going to make a comeback, just trust me on this one. Continue with the single-minded belief that you know how the game works, and barrel into irrelevance.
|
Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
Since we really need to lose this game... that means we'll win.
The sickest thing is that I'm going to this atrocious game. I must be out of my mind going to watch this stupid team in person. :iamwithst |
Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
I picked the Skins in my elimination pool. Figured it is the only time I can, keep the better teams in my pocket. Nobody is eliminated yet.

Unless you want to bring a #firebruce sign to Fedex, in which case I support you 100%. Besides, we knock this 1 win out and we can get back to losing for the rest of the year. |
Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
Guy on the radio said he considers this a rematch of SBXVII. I laughed so hard I almost ran off the road.

Re: Miami Week aka the rise of Callahan
I'm so happy that Gruden is finally gone, but don't fool yourselves into thinking that Callihan is any better. He's been here for three years in charge of the running game. And guess everyone? We have sucked ass at running the ball and will continue to do so.

Reed to IR. It is small steps but getting the roster clear of the players that shouldn't be on the 53 man roster is a start. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |
