Not sure why Slye was included in that. Both our lines are decimated, but that happens nearly every year. I know they upgraded the field, but I still wonder if it is a part of the issue around our injuries. (Not saying it is the field's fault, but if somehow it is a factor).

Samuel was hurt in Carolina, he’s not proven shit in his career. Milne will most likely be a career backup. Cam sims needs to play more but really other than Terry, we don’t have a legit go to guy. |

For sure I don’t mean Draft , we could sign a vet that’s good too. No matter what, QB1 is #1 on the list. Until we get a consistent starter it won’t matter |
Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread
Ron said after the game “ Taylor has to get rid of the ball on some of those, you can’t hold onto it against that defense” he got scared to make mistakes today and just took sacks. Also Micah Parsons did more today to change that game than CY did in 1.5 seasons. Seriously that’s not over reacting

Let me ask you something. Was CY not defensive rookie of the year? Yeah, so he didn’t have a good year this year and then got hurt. How about we wait and see What he does next year. Fickle fans in this board. |

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread
Sure losing to Dallas sucks. But.
The offside call on Jon Allen leading to their first TD was ticky tacky AF... DL line up this way all the time and it's almost never called The DPI on WJ3 leading to 21 - 0 late in the 2nd was complete bullshit Gibson's fumble Carter's drop Both Fuller and Jamin Davis dropped quite easy INTs ... Despite all that + our offense not being able to move the ball for more than half of the game + all the injuries, we had a shot till the Allen's fumble. Defense played REALLY well. Let's not downplay the fact Dallas' offense only scored 1 TD. Also loved the heart shown to come back into this game while every body from fans to the announcers had checked out. Heck, a lot of us wanted to split with Dallas and win the other games. That's still in play. We're still in the race for a wild card spot. We just lost a one score game to a division rival that we didn't think we had any business competing with 5 weeks ago. Not the end of the world. Not the end of the season. Not the end of our playoffs hunt! Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |

Thx. always hard to bitch about the zebras when we were down 24 zero at the half... But I'm still not over the fact this was flagged as offside... we would've held them to 3 points after the intercepted screen... Big turning point in the game. Gibson man. That fumble. My God. Heineke was just awful. He floated every freaking pass and was hesitant about running. Simply put He was awful. I agree the D was not bad. Not at all actually well minus William Jackson. That guy is turning out to be a piss poor signing. I still, for the life of me, do not understand why Ron accepted that penalty down by our goal line when it was 3-0. What is five yards in that situation? Clearly not affecting fg range (i think i used the right word there SD lol). It would have been 3rd and 5. Sure they could have picked up the first, but i want to take away the down there and force them to gain five yards instead of giving them two cracks at a TD. If it was going to be 3rd and 1 or 2 than ok back it up. But 3rd and 5? Im forcing them to either score or gain the 5 and hoping we force the fg. That bothered the shit out of me and of course they scored on their extra third down. Plus went for two. That to me was the turning point. This team is just always slow out of the gates. Beginning of the season. Beginning of games. It is too much to ask this team to always be playing from behind. For their season , and for the games. That is a real problem imo. Especially when you are a run first team. A wildcard is still very much there, but man they gotta be ready to go at kickoff. Enough with we will figure it out on the fly bullshit.
Well, to be fair. What a game to lay an egg. It does speak well for this team that in spite of being completely dominated all game they were in position to win at the end. Had Heinicke been in at the end WFT may have pulled it out. That said, WFT has to address the QB situation on the off-season. Whether through the draft or free agency this team needs a QB.

We will not know that until we know exactly where we are drafting and who is available if he is there. Again if there is some stud that plays S or ILB or Corner or LT - and Pickett say has an awful combine you might change your mind. Plus will there be some free agent qb? |

If I'm a Dallas fan, I'm worried about my 40M QB.. Dak has been bad for about 4-5 weeks now and they continue to talk about his leg.. He should have had 4 picks yesterday if Davis and Fuller had hands.. With all of his weapons and great OL vs a bunch of backups on our DL... Not impressed with that Cowboys O

Re: In the Hole - Post Game Thread
I wonder why we haven't played Sims that much this year? Sims often make plays whenever he has the opportunity, which is something we cannot say the same for Samuels and Brown. Sims should have been #2 WR.
The game yesterday was ugly, although I have to credit the team for not giving up until the end. It would have been easy for the team to give up early in the game but they fought until the end. It will be interesting to see how the team will perform this Sunday. |
