I mean, that was a terrible contract, so I'm not surprised they want to get out from under it.

Agree, this is a disaster for the Broncos and their cap. As well as draft capital: Denver traded three players and four draft picks across the 2022 and 2023 drafts and also swapped a 2022 draft pick in March 2022 The DC talking heads and hand wringing about Sam is sooo pathetic and over the top. We gave him a year and he gained valuable experience and showed some good traits to build on…at no cost. Million dollar salary. Honest fans should be upset about the absolute collapse of the defense…10 million dollar salary to Logan Thomas who refuses to block, Dotson having a bust like season, Nick Gates and Wylie being complete Oline busts in free agency hurting our cap for the next couple years |

Sean Peyton is a dick. Good luck trying to find another Drew Brees.

Pretty obvious Payton made it personal by dressing Wilson down on the sideline. Russ should have told him to go fuck off. Payton is such a bitch and a bully. |

I’m not impressed with Ben Johnson’s play calling, many times it’s predictable. I wouldn’t pay him $15 million/year.

Re: Around the NFL week 17
Detroit is just as sloppy on offense and defense as the Cowboys.
Everytime I see the Lions play I come away underwhelmed. Not impressed |
Re: Around the NFL week 17
Love Sam LaPorta, he should be considered for offensive rookie of the year.

The 3 points he bypassed in the first half with a 4th goal from the 6th? Stupid as a decision as I’ve seen in the NFL since I’ve watched..which is like 7 or 8 years old |
Re: Around the NFL week 17
The tape don't lie .. both lineman went to Ref and reported eligible.. the tape shows it !! The ref claims he didn't hear it ... fix is in

Yep, it was way late too. If anyone doesn’t believe games are heavily influenced by refs then they’re crazy. The NFL has always favored Dallas in the majority of prime time games Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Around the NFL week 17
Here's to Dallas kicking our ass or getting cheated for next week too! Thanks refs. Dallas still gonna lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. Eagles are beating the Cardinals and Giants. We know what the cowboys do on the road and in the playoffs; lose & lose in the 1st round. Those 1st round cowboy tears are a special treat only available once a year (if that).

They will probably have to go to Tampa so I think that’s a win but the next week they won’t beat Philly in Philly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Around the NFL week 17
While the Cowboys winning has probably done us a favour because they'll likely be playing to win next week (and thus we have a chance of finishing with the #3 or even 2 pick), it's galling to see them win due to bad (if not atrocious) officiating.
The NFL needs to address this soon. Why, in 2024, they don't employ full time officials is beyond me. Rugby Union is the best example of standards, but even looking at English football alone, where there can be in excess of 60 professionally officiated matches per week, there are relatively few controversies. And English football doesn't have the full set of replay tools and views the NFL does (pylon cameras, sky cam, c. 20 manned cameras). The NFL seems to have had at least 2-3 serious issues per week this season, and standards seem to be getting worse not better. and its not like the NFL can't afford it. |

Or they'll outright lie and say it was the correct call. |
Re: Around the NFL week 17
How about just saying Refs are human and on the take....😳😀. Seriously there is no reason for that to have happened... if that was NFC championship ?? The LEAGUE has to get this right .. my question is it shows the ref telling Dallas something.. What was that ?? It stinks

The ref was telling the Dallas defense who reported as eligible. Looks like the ref assumed it was just #70, only heard him and not #68? Maybe #68 needed to be sure the ref heard him? He'll probably tell you that. Either way, it wasn't a good look. |
