What impresses me most is the improvement from the start. We never saw that with the last regime. The coaching is vastly improved.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No coach takes a team to a SB and comes extremely close to winning like Quinn and not know how to coach. Highly underappreciated coach honestly. Also pretty unique combination of being highly likeable and a great coach. Only Andy Reid comes to mind immediately who possesses this attribute. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 5
KC wins again which I like giving a conference foe another loss. Never too early to begin playoff position when you are in the mix.
Starting to wonder how many more KC will need to win before talk of an undefeated season starts. I'd say 2. |

The chatter will start if they win a couple more. Again highly doubt they or especially Minny go undefeated. |

Jets have fired Robert Saleh

Rivera took Carolina to a Super Bowl and almost won. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 5
The Jets are a mess. They need to move on from the 40 year old QB who seems to think he manages the team. I mean bending over backwards for this guy, bringing his favorite washed up wr's plus his OC seems like a set up to fail type of deal. Can't fire the QB right now so you fire the coach.

I watched a little bit of some of their games, and he does look washed, but their OLine is TERRIBLE!!! Like atrocious level bad. |

Jets did him a favor firing him early. That team is a mess. He will have a job as DC somewhere in 2025. Hey Jets, wanna trade Sauce Gardner to us? Pretty please. |

P-u-u-l-e-e-e-se! You know that isn't a valid comparison. First of all Quinn is able to stay awake during games. Rivera motivated nobody. His choice of assistant coaches was appalling. He had an incompetent GM, i.e himself. Etc., etc., etc. |
Derek Carr is such a fucking dumb mutherfucker
I can't imagine how anyone could think the Saints could be contenders with Carr as their starting QB. He is an also ran if I ever saw one. |
Rivera took Carolina to a Super Bowl and almost won.
He worked for Snyder which is a fight you will NEVER win. He was a good coach in Carolina. Just because it didn't work out here for an impossible situation doesn't mean the guy couldn't coach.

ha . . . true, but he did have a team in the Superbowl while head coach. |

good point .. . however i don't think he had a great record in Carolina either. He had a great season and a couple of good ones. The rest sucked!! |

The rest sucked!!
His final record at Carolina was 79-67-1 so he did finish with a winning record. He also took Carolina to the playoffs 4 times, once to the SB as previously mentioned. He also won NFL Coach of the Year twice in his stint there in 2013 and 2015. I'm saying he was a good coach not elite, just didn't work out here. His stint at Carolina clearly proves this. Working for Snyder should be exempt for his tenure overall for obvious reasons, as he wasn't as successful. Automatic failing situation.

So glad we got a 3rd rounder for this bum. What a waste of talent Chase Young is.

This story certainly escalated quickly. Hackett should feel VERY lucky if the rumor is true or not. I always thought Rodgers and Saleh's relationship was odd after the hug rejection on the sideline. Still not worried about the Jets anytime soon. |

Highly doubt this move pays dividends for them this year.

Karen Rodgers calls the shots...and in this case it wasn't a good one. I'm not sure what is going on with him and Nathaniel Hackett...maybe the two of them were together on that darkness retreat and he owes him somehow...
