Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

If Chris Clemons make the roster as a pass-rush specialist, he could end up with a bunch of sacks. :pi_lightb

He had like 2-3 in just a few appearances if I remember correctly...

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

It's a really tough call who will lead the team in sacks. Williams' system isn't conventional and doesn't rely on dedicated pass-rushers from the front four. Rather, he uses a lot of blitzes from the secondary and linebackers. Moreover, he covets players who can do more than blitz - he wants them to stuff the run and cover as well. So, we'll see a lot of players with 4+ sacks, but won't see anyone with 12+ sacks.

Ultimately though, I'll go with Arrington having 10 sacks.

I went with Arrington, also. He is gonna be a beast this year. Does anyone have a copy of the preseason game where he nearly tore Vick's head off?

Gibbs will lead with 15.

Anyone see his d-line stance from the OTA videos on skins.com?

The guy has a future in this league.

Carlos Rogers tied with Matt Bowen. Each will have 8 sacks.

Arrington sets the league record by obliterating Eli Manning in week 16 with his 23rd sack. He also retires QB #3 after having retired Kurt Warner in week 14 by delivering a light tap to the noggin. Arrington does the old Sean Gilbert sack dance in front of Strahan in jubilation. Tiki Barber is wracked with grief and makes up for all the fumbles he didn't have last year by fumbling on 16 out of 21 carries. He then reveals after the game that he was overly emotional because he recently became engaged to Todd Pinkston, noted for breaking the league's gender barrier by becoming the first female player to start at WR.

LA, but just barely. I see Williams spreading it around. Just picked LA because he will finally be in a system and a position that suits him at the same time. I see 8-10 for LA. This will be the year where he establishes himself as the hands-down best OLB in the game.

Todd Pinkston, the only NFL player that makes ME look buff by comparison.

Does Todd Pinkston remind anyone of a shemale?

Washington with 7.

I wouldn't be surprised if Arrington didn't get a ton of playing time this year. Call it a hunch.

Re: 2005 Sacks Leader?

I'd love to see him come back healthy and ready to go. The one game he was in last year towards the end, he made a big difference, stopping a couple runs by himself.

That's pretty much what I was referencing before. Even one of my buddies who's an e-girls fan found it funny. On another note, that guy is going to get a slightly altered "sorry for your loss/funeral" card this year after we play the eagles the first time.
