Re: The talk about anything cuz your up real late and tired of draft talk thread.
So if longevity doesnt matter to you, do you feel that Terrel Davis should be in the Hall of Fame? Also, again if he was so much better than Montana then Young should have had an easy time pushing Montana out. And with so much better stats than Montana why doesnt Young have atleast 1 more ring?
Davis does not deserve the Hall...he did not put up good enough numbers. He had 3 good seasons, that was it. Not enough for me. What I am referring to in longevity is talking about the difference in stats from someone that played 17 years as opposed to someone that played 13. Vinny is the perfect example. He played 20 years, of course his stats are going overwhelm someone that played 13 years or so. But that doesn't make him better. But you can't allow someone in the hall that had only 3 good years. You need to have a decent length career.

Again, you DO NOT under ANY circumstances push out a hall of famer for someone that hasn't proven anything. (see Brett Favre last year and this year)
In 1990, Montana was 14-2 (his last full season in SF). What allowed Young in the door was an injury to Montana, then he did so well, that the 49ers allowed a hall of famer to move on to KC. That says A LOT. So why would the 49ers push out a QB that went 14-2?

By the way, sometimes I like to argue too. ;)

After the draft, will this thread be null and void?

1969 Camaro SS Convertible. I had a chance to get one when I was 18 but my father would not be a cosigner for me. He only wanted 7k. I think about that a lot, and some day I will own one.

I went to my step-brother's wedding tonite and the ceremony was completely hilarious. They got married at an inn in the country. They were standing in a large gazebo that overlooked this beautiful valley and not far down below was a pasture full of cows.

So the minister begins and says, "We are gathered here on this beautiful evening surrounded by God's glorious creation." MOOOOOO... "Let us take in the wonder of His creation and listen to what He is speaking to us through it." MOOOOOO...

The bride fell out laughing as well as the guests. The cows mooed through the whole ceremony. After the "I now pronounce you man and wife" instead of playing a triumphant processional song, they played the Jefferson's theme. "Well we're moving on up!" It was great. Most fun I've had at a wedding in a long time.

That's original. I think I'd be laughing pretty hard too.

No, because the draft just happened and I am already tired of talking about it.

Yeah, everything has already been said at this point. Now it's the waiting game.
