I think if I did a search I could find a similar post (not necessarily from you) from 2004 about Sean Taylor
yup... i'm sure I said the same thing then. I stand by it. he cant keep costing his team so much...

The only time I was happy about sean's penalties was when he jacked TO in the mouth...

I know he'll make up for it and maybe its just me thinking he hasn't earned the right yet, I don't know but someone needs to step in and tell this kid to keep his aggression within the game.

With the O-line channeling their inner Hogs tonight, Coach Skinsnut you prolly would've kept the ball on the ground.

.
I must admit...after the first 8 misses in a row...i was thinking Brunell...I'm glad Im not coach
matty if you're not disappointed with the regularities of the stupid penalties you're giving him too much of a pass.

I didn't say I didn't like him or or thought we made a mistake with the pick. I like the way he plays, but the penalties are getting real old real quick.

and the chris samuels thing, that was before I realized what a huge cap hit we'd take. I think we're going to have to clear out some dough, and he, jansen, and griffin each have about an 8m dollar figure next year, and I think we'd get the most back for him....

I think Sartz got cut. You might be referring to HB Blades. He came in for Rocky.

Speaking of Rocky, anyone know what exactly happened to him?

you are right...blades...he played fine...correct?
That guy is good depth, huh?

Re: Redskins at Giants game thread

I didn't hear anything about rocky. Kheary Campbell saw the field some and finished up tied with the most tackles (8). I saw blades out there as well, and they were looking pretty good.

He has a sprained knee, as for the severity hopefully is not that bad.

Have to co-sign with all the Heyer props... didn't hear Strahan's name called too much- the rookie's got a solid future.

and the game ball goes to.....fredd 'smackbars' SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT
great game on plaxico, limited him to no big plays, even a great swat in the endzone, and of course saw smooty jawjackin at the line of scrim

Smoot played his heart out especially after that hit he was sidelined with on Brandon Jacobs. Landry looked great too..he covers a lot of field playing FS.. some of his play making ability might be taken away if he stays in a cover 2 or deep one..but I think its their best best to keep Doughty toward the line of scrimmage as much as they can

What a great win. Where has this team been all season?
yeah, I've been pretty disappointed with Landry. He's got so much potential and can make some plays, but he can whiff with the best of them and he needs a major attitude adjustment on the field.

I think he'll grow up, and I think he'll be awesome, but he's going to be pretty well hated if he keeps up all the jack-jawing and blatant late hits... headhunting... helmet to helmet on qbs etc....
Landry so far reminds me a LOT of Sean Taylor in his first year or two...incredible plays, big hits, uncalled-for penalties.

I believe he'll grow up (Gibbs will make him) and he'll become a great safety like Sean was.

He HAS won us more games with big plays than blown them for us so far this year, so I'll be patient with him.
Dude Todds numbers were terrible tonight but I think that was because the wind.
Ha, you think?

It was nearly impossible to pass or punt in that wind. The punting by both teams was horrible, yet hilarious.

Frost had the right idea with his line-drive punt. I saw it and said "WHAT WAS THAT!?!!? I've never seen a punt that looked like that!" The commentators said it looked more like a Brett Favre pass than a punt. They were right.

Collins' numbers looked bad, but Cooley dropped a lot of balls and his passes looked a lot better than Eli's wobbly ducks.

He had some good passes down the field and didn't do anything to lose the game for us, so I'll take it. There were a few times where I would've preferred Campbell be in, because Collins can't scramble or escape the rush, but at least he doesn't fumble.
