A bit more deeply the liberal bastions tend to not only bash the conservatives bit then also fuel a stereotype that the liberal elite as the designated saviours of women/oppressed people even as they hide the transgressors who live and work among them.

Hopefully this is clearing of the air in ALL quarters.

If you're going to walk down that road, at least provide some absolute proof that the girl he was banging was the one who released the evidence. Otherwise you got nothing. How do you know she didn't show the pic to one of the other girls he was fucking and they released it? Trick question, you don't. You just want to assume the girl released it to get back at him for breaking up with her.

Also, your whole "remember, if this was a female senator..." thing is irrelevant, because it's not. It's discussing hypotheticals, which may or may not happen (I'm willing to bet Congressional sex scandals is another bubble waiting to burst and when it does both male/female senators will be implicated, although the ratio will probably be skewed I would assume from the law of averages that there are a couple female Congresswomen that probably have something to hide. ) So until it does happen it's a moot talking point.
