Why would I be concerned that more people are eligible for health Insurance?
Because ACA hurt small business more then anything I can think of over the past 10 years. If an employer had 10 employees which he provided health care he saw premium increase over a 100%which would have been an increase of about $6000 a month with 10 employees. |
Re: Trump 2.0 Administration Golden Years
Inflation is up.
The latest PCE report indicates a rise in inflation, with prices increasing by 2.6% in June compared to a year ago, up from 2.4% in May. This increase is partially attributed to tariffs imposed by President Trump, which are pushing some prices higher according to CBS News, reports Reuters. As for your friend................ US steel prices are up primarily due to the recent increase in tariffs on imported steel, making domestic steel more attractive and allowing producers to raise prices. Additionally, rising demand, driven by factors like infrastructure projects and increased manufacturing activity, is also contributing to higher prices.
Inflation of 2.6 oh boy we saw inflation as high as 9.1 under Biden. How in the hell can the left even bring up inflation after what we saw from Biden? 2022 7.5 7.9 8.5 8.3 8.6 9.1 8.5 8.3 8.2 7.7 7.1 6.5 8.0 2021 1.4 1.7 2.6 4.2 5.0 5.4 5.4 5.3 5.4 6.2 6.8 7.0 4.7 |

Millions more can afford health care, my employer figured it out. It's the bigger picture and what is better for all Americans. |

You saw inflation related to Covid which the right wing nuts never acknowledge and the Left brings it up because trump said he stopped it, he lied. |

It's been a while, just checking in to make sure nothing has changed here, and it has not. Guess I should respect the consistency.
Anything good under a democrat = great democrat policies Anything bad under a democrat = COVID and/or republican's faults Anything good under a republican = not good at all Anything bad under a republican = bad republican policies And G1 still monitors these threads like a hawk to always control the narrative. It's much easier to blame or praise the person in charge at the time. |

As a stand-alone comment I agree with this 100%. |

Oh, it's worse than that. What you say is true, but of those that do research many and maybe most discard or refuse to accept the data that doesn't correspond to their beliefs. |

Pete Buttigieg Sums Up How Trump Makes Our Lives Worse In Refreshingly Simple Way
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/pete-buttigieg-sums-up-how-trump-makes-your-life-worse-in-refreshingly-simple-way_n_6894b20de4b067651d4916a6 Americans’ lives are “different and worse” now that we have “an autocrat in power” who’s “appointing incompetent people over very important things in our lives.” 1)“So, right now we have the secretary of defense in charge of defending the American people who is accidentally texting military strike information internally to journalists,” Buttigieg said of Pete Hegseth, who did exactly that in March when a staffer unwittingly added Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg to a Signal group chat. 2)“We have the person in charge of American public health who is a quack, who doesn’t believe in medicine,” Buttigieg said of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has been spreading misinformation about vaccines for years. “And now measles is on the rise in America.” 3)“We have a secretary of education in charge of your kids’ educational well-being who has spoken about the importance of ‘A-One,’” Buttigieg said, referring to Linda McMahon. “Which means she does not understand that the acronym is ‘AI.’ Which means she does not understand the most important development affecting education in our lifetimes.” 4)“We have a secretary of Homeland Security who sat on funding and did not allow it to go to Texas during the floods for at least two days, for no good reason,” Buttigieg said of Kristi Noem. I ask you why would we trust anyone trumps puts in charge of BLS ? |

If you listen very closely, you don’t hear anymore talk about eliminating the filibuster
Why is that? |
