Re: All things Middle East related
This is all conjecture on my part, but I have experience (Been right once or twice with it).
So reports/claims are the drone strike that destroyed the VBIED actually killed a guy that worked for an American NGO and a former DOD contractor (Both Afghans) and their families. Not saying this is true but wouldn't surprise me if it was, especially if it was the Taliban providing the intel. Seen stupid shit like this done before in another theater. (a lack of a secondary explosion on the vehicle got my suspicions going). https://www.nytimes.com/live/2021/08/30/world/afghanistan-news#a-family-says-10-of-its-members-were-killed-in-a-us-drone-strike-in-kabul |
Re: All things Middle East related
President Biden on August 19: "If there's American citizens left [on August 31], we're gonna stay to get them all out."
Dementia ridden piece of shit wanted a fucking photo opt on 9-11. What a disgraceful piece of shit. A lotta folks should be held accountable for this absolute debacle. Those are the words of our allies as well. |
Re: All things Middle East related
The 20 year book on Afghanistan occupation can be closed.
President Biden took one for the team by being the president on deck to close out this shit show of a military industry contractor cash cow. |

President Biden knew it was going to be a shit show and people on the other side of the aisle would politicize anything the Taliban did as if President Biden had blood on his hands ..
but he did it anyway. Putting whats best for America and the American people ahead of his interests in favorability polling. Thank you President Biden. |

You must have missed the lies Biden spouted leading up to his personal decisions in this mess where he said this would not be a shitshow, the taliban would not take the country back, ISIS isn’t in Afghanistan, we wouldn’t leave Americans behind, etc. This has been a disaster of his making ie such as the border crisis, inflation numbers, his inability to stop covid with around 260k deaths, higher crime do to his party direct support of the defund the police movement and incompetent DA in major cities, and now a foreign policy crisis NATO described as one the worst since their inception and foreign allies laid blame on this administration. But don’t let me get in the way of you celebrating this achievement… |

Even most of those who liked the idiotic decision to surrender, even his allies in the Media, even the closest US Allies that virtually never criticize any US Government due to diplomatic niceties say he fucked it up 6 ways to Sunday. In fact he fucked it up so badly that it's a stain that almost certainly assures he will go down as one of the worst President the US ever had (He'll be keeping Trump company). And you are thanking him for that? Oh and Al Qaeda is openly back in Afghanistan with leaders showing themselves in public for the first time since 2001. |

Yes I am happy we are finally done in Afghanistan and we finally stopped throwing away good money after bad. 2. Al Qaeda already being back = the last 20 years have been a waste of time and money. if 2 trillion us dollars and 20 years of occupation didnt do a damn thing .. why would I want to spend another 2T and 20 years there? Learn from our mistakes .. not continue on the same ineffective plan. Odd position to argue that Al Qaeda already back is somehow proof we should have continued what we were doing for the past 20 years. I see it as proof we should have pulled out long ago. President Biden gets credit for ripping the band aid off knowing war hawks and MAGAs would be sharpening their spears on any adverse news. 20 years of failed policy is long enough imo. |

Probably originating from Afghanistan which will cost 100-1000 times what we were paying to maintain the small garrison we had been maintaining in Afghanistan. |

Wow I guess some of the parents of the military personnel killed last week called the President an incompetent fool to his face. I think they should just have refused to meet him (as some did) if they couldn't control their emotions.

Imbecilic’: Ex-UK leader Tony Blair slams Afghan withdrawal
“The abandonment of Afghanistan and its people is tragic, dangerous, unnecessary, not in their interests and not in ours,” .....Blair also accused U.S. President Joe Biden of being “in obedience to an imbecilic political slogan about ending ‘the forever wars’, as if our engagement in 2021 was remotely comparable to our commitment 20 or even 10 years ago.”.... Re: All things Middle East related
I'm not jumping in this debate on whether we should've left anymore, I've already said my piece on it.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/fact-focus-trump-others-wrong-on-us-gear-left-with-taliban/ar-AANXdlT?li=BBnb7Kz I did find this interesting though. The question is - assuming all of our gear left behind was stuff we gave to the ANA to help them - would you rather have taken back all that gear when we left or just never gave it to them in the first place at all? Because either option basically guarantees they fold - whereas our whole strategy seemed to be arm them and train them to defend the nation long enough for us to get out. In hindsight yes it's obviously a failure on our part to underestimate how many actually cared about fighting the Taliban but we don't have the luxury of knowing hindsight when we're making plans to withdraw. |

People (anti Biden) say we fucked up and yes the withdrawal was a massive fuck up I make no excuses for it. How original, I'm back to being a Trumpette now. Your standard go to when anyone criticizes Biden. Criticize Biden = Trumpette If you didn't have double standards about Biden, you wouldn't have any standards at all. It's weird that you're a "republican" but you constantly carry his water. |

Done. Note - I am not saying anything about this call being impeachable. Or that anything about about the withdrawal is. All that talk is ridiculous. A lot of us on the right complained about the impeachments against Trump. Now many of those same people keep throwing the word around everytime Biden looks the wrong direction. But the call is certainly not a good look, especially considering how the withdrawal turned into such a shitshow. |

That's just blatant and willful blindness of what people actually post here. As far I can see there is just one and only one poster who doesn't condemn Trump. Do you want to go back over multiple pages of me tearing into Trump for his idiotic Afghan withdrawal proposal? Do I have to point you to the multiple posts where I was complaining that we replaced one of the worst Presidents the US ever had with one of the worst Presidents the US ever had? Jeez guy pay attention to what we're posting. Bottom-line condemning Biden for his idiocy doesn't make one a Trump supporter. |

Because it's all or nothing with some people on here. If we all conceded a little from time to time we could get along much better - but rarely will you see Chico admit he thinks less of Trump for a certain strategy Trump uses. In the meantime all we get is "man ya'll really pressed on Trump" every time we mention him even though this fuckface is getting ready to announce his 2024 campaign. |
