Re: 34th Overall Pick

Attaochu could help the rush from OLB. Hageman or Tuitt could help from DE. Louis Nix at NT likely would not help with the pass rush on his own too much but he would allow us to move Cofield to the 5 technique, which would help the pass rush.

Any or all of these players may be there at #34.

It's a sad sort of give and take. The Antitrust exemption makes it practical to help assure the best players are all in the same league, with the same rules, etc. However a decent amount of the decisions the NFL makes come across as quite tonedeaf. Others seem like they're intent on abusing their Antitrust exemption with things like Sunday Ticket only being available on DirectTV while EA Sports makes the only NFL game.

Goodell's response, well we run a bunch of games nationally. Yes, Roger but if I want to watch the Skins out of market I either have to go to a bar or pony up for Direct TV to watch it in a way the NFL would approve.

When they do things like that then go hard after "pirated broadcast" it really ticks me off, as theres a good reason people are seeking out the pirated streams in the first place. And ironically enough its not because people aren't willing to pay.

Haslett is working on borrowed time, should be gone this year.

He wants this to go to 4 days too?

Goodell needs to move this thing back to the original date. Is there way to petition the White House or something about this issue?

I'd be surprised if it goes 4 days, not surprised if it stays in May

Why is everyone so high on Hageman ? he looks like Tarzan, and plays like Jane.......... the guy had 2 sacks

As much as I love stats, you've gotta learn to look past them a lot of times. Hageman is a physical beast, and the potential he shows is easily enough to get him inside the 1st round. A project player, but there's nothing wrong with that except that we kind of need a guy who can contribute immediately. Can't see Hageman starting Year 1.

You can write a polite but impassioned letter to the Commish (and maybe Snyder, too).

I'm fine with it in May, but make it the first weekend
