Watched Stepbrothers again last night. So damn funny. When they show up for the janitor interview in tuxedos... priceless. "Actually, we'll be interviewing as a team. We're here to f*ck sh*t up." LOL
that is one of my favorite comedies...the whole movie is quotable its so funny.
Actually he has done a couple, Pacifier(113 million) and Gameplan(90 million from the earlier link), which were in the same style. Fairly good clean comedy that a family can watch . Certainly its not targeted for the blood and guts type crowd.
the pacifier was vin diesel actually but i watched them both too and didnt find them too horrible...tooth fairy on the other hand just looks bad to me...kids will watch it and its aimed at them i get it...glad hollywood will help my son not know what a good movie is...i guess ill stick with pixar films. yeah the rock i feel fell off big time...disney owns his soul i think.

as for the a team movie im scared...i mean Rampage Jackson is gonna be Mr T's character 8X
Its gonna be a movie with Paul Bettany and I think it comes out in August.

I can't wait for "The Walking Dead" which will be airing on AMC and is being directed by Frank Durabont who also directed Shawshank Redepmtion, The Green Mile, and The Mist. I wish it was gonna be done by HBO to match the grittyness of the books, but I've heard that late night AMC shows sometimes get away with things you can't do on primetime.
That movie is called "Priest" I read the plot and its not the same as Preacher, in Preacher he is buddies with the vampire in the story...

Preacher (comics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This will give a good insight to what it is all about... Trust me the hardcore Christans will be upset with this when they discover that in the story that a secret group of Christans kept the bloodline of Christ a straight line by in-breeding the offspring....

Just watched Law Abiding Citizen. I liked it enough that I feel I'm probably gonna buy it on dvd just because it was good enough for me to watch again and again. I thought the plot was really good and I've always liked Gerard Butler (mostly from 300) and Jamie Foxx on the big screen.

Edge of Darkness was surprisingly good... more cerebral than I thought it would be, but the action is definitely cool.

Looking forward to Shutter Island this week!

Just finished watching Law abiding citizen,I thought it was a great movie,I thought the best one Ive seen in a while and I watch a lot of movies. To me,it was better than 4 of the movies i've seen that are nominated for an oscar.Which are
The hurt locker
inglorious basterds
district 9
a serious man

I just saw Avatar in imax 3d,so its hard to top that,I havent seen the other movies nominated.
On another note,I thought a serious man seriously sucked{and I like Coen brother movies} well thats a little harsh, but I didnt think it was that great

I really liked Law Abiding Citizen, but I absolutely loved Inglorious Basterds and I thought The Hurt Locker was definitely good as well. I'd put it up there with them but my favorite movie out of those three definitely has to be Inglorious Basterds. I never saw District 9 or A Serious Man either, in fact I don't think I even heard of A Serious Man. If I have then it must not have been compelling enough for me to remember haha.

its probably a lot about expectations,I was pumped to watch basterds and it was a little bit of a letdown, plus knowing that the bad guy didnt really die in real life messes with me.

Seriously some of you guys are horrible with spoilers. I hate people that reveal spoilers.

Once when I went to the Uptown theater to see a Perfect Storm some ass yelled out the ending while we were all waiting in line to buy tickets to it. Needless to say the crowd made him feel like crap and he ended up leaving the line.

Had to see it twice lol. The first time i went to the Alamo, got the growler (re-fillable bucket of beer), and about 35 mins into the movie i got drunk and fell asleep! Ha.

So i went sunday to the matinee....Excellent film, just excellent.

I started The Given Day but I gave up on it pretty quickly but maybe I'll pick it back up after I get over the little Cormac McCarthy kick that I'm on.

Wow no Oscar talk, kind of a big upset last night with Hurt Locker beating out Avatar, James Cameron looked pissed after he lost best director but probably was thinking well I got best picture wrapped up, nope!

Saw Paranormal Activity on Saturday, really? the scariest movie since Exorcists, really? I guess if you are scared of things that go bump in the night maybe. I was struggling with keeping my eyes open.

I missed that I was trying to watch the Celtics play as well as watching the Oscars. What a bitch. Cameron had to be boiling inside, I forgot that is his ex. he has plenty of Oscars with Titanic. To be honest Avatar's storyline was nothing ground breaking at all. I like that they acknowledge horror films this year, I believe they said it is the most popular genre.
