That's great stuff man. I can't imagine what it must have felt like for those two to sit there and talk to each other

Now I want to go volunteer at a nursing home
Have fun with that. My step Grandfather is a WW2 vet and is on his death bed. He lives with my grandmother near my parents. I go and visit them almost every weekend. He is a remarkable man. He is one of few people who actually served in all three branches of service. He was in the Army Air Corp which split off into the Air Force. Then he got out and joined the Navy. He retired from the Navy decades ago.
That's pretty good for a guy your size!
The best I did was 5 min and 1 second. I wanted to break that 5 minute mile, but never could. I also wanted to run a marathon, but only got to 18 miles.
Skinny people are always so shocked when they see me do things that I am not supposed to do liike running a 4.8 forty in high school while playing running back. And our coach liked me a kick returner too so i had that responibility. Which was funny cause my cousin was als a running back on the team and he was timed as running a 4.29 at 185lbs. But coach never wanted to put him back there.

Coach said that I had better vision than him.
I am not clumsy. I was the biggest running back ever in my high schools history at 324lbs in my junior year and 308lbs in my senior year. I also wrestled and I can run a mile in under 8 minutes 7:56 to be exact.
When you break into 5 min miles come talk to me. I used to run two miles in 10 and some change when I was your age. Youngbuck!

That's good man...it's always good to be quick at that size. That's a dangerous combo.
Funny you said 4.29, that was exactly what I ran. I was 212 or so when I did it though. My coach wanted me as a running back, because oddly enough my legs are seriously short. I wear 29 inch pants (length), and could probably get away with a 28. I am very low centered and I can run like the wind...that is a great combo at running back..but I was a QB. I could throw 92 MPH and had great accuracy. I even told him, if you can find someone better at QB, then I will gladly move to RB. Never happened.

I hardly have the time to volunteer for anything unfortunately. The little time I do get I actually spend with young children (like elementary school) teching them arts and crafts, games, etc.

I would have loved to see that. I was the fastest guy on my team. I only ran a legit 4.45 in high school

Woh...take it easy man...that is VERY hard to do you know. You're talking 3 minutes off your best time. That's a lot. I tried hard to get under 5 and couldn't. Of course, had I stopped focusing on building muscles, I could have, but women would rather have the body builder type than the marathon runner type. :D

I am at 4.97 right now and he is at 4.29-4.33. But we were a deadly tandem.
