Hypthetically you could safely get as big as steroid users and not worry about the tendon and ligament damage associated with steroid use. However that is suppose to take place over years if not decades as the body needs time to adjust.

No doubt in my mind all his injuries are connected to him overtraining. There's no way its healthy or stable for the body to be that big at that size at those proportions.
