We should get him, the guy is good and if Olshasky is available him too. Let Taylor hit the road along with Daniels. |
Re: 2009 Free Agents
Buffalo released Angelo Crowell. Does anyone know how good he is and if he played strong side. Where is ThatGuy, he seems to have left us. I always enjoyed his insight, even though he always acted like a know it all.

Crowell is pretty good. He plays strong side but he missed last year with an injury and had knee surgery. He's only 27 and could be a good value for someone willing to take a chance. |

What I like about both of these guys is that they are big, tall and physical. |

Olshansky is 6-6 309 lbs. I didn't realize he was that big. The Cowgirls are also interested in him. Only 26 years old too. |

Yeah, I know. It would be great to steal Canty form the pokes. |
Re: 2009 Free Agents
Olshansky nice big man , from Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. You know this guys tough. But he was only half as productive in 08 as compared to 07. He played all 16 games both years. Not sure about this guy.
Are Igor OLchansky and Chris Canty UFA's? If so, we should sign both of these guys.
Both are 3-4 DEs not a good fit for our system. Their price tags will likely be driven up by the three (I believe) additional teams moving to the 3-4. |

I still would go after Canty, did he play on a 3-4 in Virginia? Shit maybe he can be better on a 4-3. |
Re: 2009 Free Agents
Maybe we should start the transition to the 3-4 D It seems like all the big names are coming from or wanting to go in that direction. I wonder how this will affect or limit future FA aquisitions since more and more teams are going 3-4.

Re: 2009 Free Agents
I am thinking Jason Brown from Baltimore may be a very smart target in FA for us. He's a big C at 320lb, can play G and was the anchor of a very good Baltimore line, he's only 26. He's a huge improvement over Rabach at C, definitely fills an immediate need, and could solidify the position for 4-5 years. Baltimore has already franchised Suggs so there is a good chance Brown will hit the market. This also would allow us to concentrate of OT, DT/DE, and LB in the draft.

As long as Blache is DC, we won't be moving to a 4-3. |
