Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
For the record, I think Torrain makes the team and is still possibly starter vs. Giants. Good problem to have though -- finally.

Don't see that being the case. I think he can still make the team but I do not see him being the starter at all. Hightower and Helu have played too well IMO to have neither of the two be the starter. |

Helu is faster, more agile, and a better receiver. Furthermore, he can be deadly even in limited action as a #2. Hightower is faster, can pass pro better, a better receiver, is more durable, and runs just as hard. |
Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
I really think Torain is seriously on the bubble.

He might be. He'll need to play this week. If he does not play against the Ravens, and show what he can do further, he might be gone. I think our best option is to have Hightower/Torrain/Helu going into the season... but if you can't stay healthy, you can't make the team... |
Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
By the way, does anyone else think Beck is really akward when he's doing draws? He had at least two or three yesterday that just looked really weird.

Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
I don't think Torain will play at all this preseason. There was some speculation that he may silt out until the bye week. Not sure though. Mike absolutely loves him though,

Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
Think the Cards are kicking themselves today over that trade? I mean Vonnie was a good guy but from a production standpoint I am not sure what they were thinking in the first place. Now they've gone from an abundance of talent to scrounging the free agent pool and waiver wire.

I watched the whole game on CSN and I think Mann felt a little uncomfortable at first, in the beginning it sounded like he was just reading lines off a teleprompter. But I think he grew a little more comfortable towards the end of the game. Maybe he just needs to get comfortable in that role. But I for one was very happy with JT not being in the booth anymore. |

He still has four screws in his hand, doesnt he? |
Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
Yeah, the screws will probably stay in there until after the season.

Re: Redskins-Colts Gameday Thread.
MAN the thing about Hightower, Torrain and Helu. These dudes run...HARD! If we have any successful blocking at all we should have an old school power running attack. Should be really fun and make life much more fun for our QB.
