Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition
Problem is Cousins has had the INT issue going back to college. And his inability to handle the adversity of it last year is a concern.

Re: 2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition
Wow, well if SmootSmack is saying that RGIII is likely to be moved this year, then it does make me consider the possibilities of some deal with San Diego. I have always been high on Phillip Rivers. To me, he's one of the elite quarterbacks in the league. To grab him AND still have a 1st round pick would be great. The 'skins are likely to trade down anyway.
However, if the Chargers are wanting Marcus Mariota, I just don't see how he falls in the 'skins lap? I would assume they'd have to do whatever they could to jump up to at least the #2 spot. But if he does fall to #5, the Redskins need to either take him, or trade that pick to the Chargers for Phillip Rivers. I'd prefer to roll with Rivers, still have a first round pick at #17, which is still a possibility for the 'skins to trade down and pick up more draft picks. If this scenario were to happen, I would not be upset in the least. Well, except for having to stare at the #10 jersey that my wife gave me for Christmas back in 2012. |

I'm wondering if this is why McCoy was resigned. |

If this opportunity presented itself the Skins have to take it. You still keep your first rounder and you get a franchise QB for the next 3-4 years or so. Chargers can't be that stupid can they? |

I would suggest you are not alone in that particular hell. My wife also wanted an RGIII jersey for Christmas. I had to drive down to Columbia to get the jersey b/c everyone around Baltimore was licensed only to sell Ravens' gear. (Same Christmas, my parents gave me an Orakpo jersey. - lol) When I went to the training camp in 2013, half of all the jerseys being worn were RGIII. Crazy. |

I think it was more that the available pool of veteran QBs for depth was limited. |

Any chance RGIII gets traded? Any truth to the rumblings that Coach and Owner aren't on the same page philosophically? #jkmailbag @john_keim — DennisDuncan (@DennisDuncan4) March 19, 2015 Keim: If it were up to the coach, Griffin would be gone. The owner, it appears, wants to keep him around another year. Griffin does not have a ton of supporters on the football side as far as feeling he can become the sort of franchise quarterback they once envisioned. So, no, I don't think they're on the same page. Not saying Jay Gruden is right or wrong in his assessment, just that they differ. I think the only way Griffin gets traded is if another quarterback comes back in return (probably obvious). Based on the coaches not having much confidence in him, anything is possible. But they'll have to convince the owner it's a smart move and I'm not sure they'll be able to do so.[/quote] If only Gruden didn't want him around, I wouldn't have said the Redskins are looking to move RG3. Jay's voice alone is not that powerful |

Anything to do with them liking Mariota? |

I have no idea if they like Mariota

So, if I am hearing what you're saying, they are trying to move him and are willing to do so - but there is some value the want in return. It's not exactly "Oh dear God, someone take him - just offer us a ham sandwich and he's yours." Except that, if it were up to JG, not even a ham sandwich would be required. |
