Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
This situation is bad for the team and Haskins altogether, however one good thing did come out of this. Haskins asked the team to draft McLaurin, which ended up becoming one of the best picks in WFT's history already. Yes, we wasted a 1st round pick on Haskins but the McLaurin pick made up for it, in my opinion. Now, the rookie QB next year will have an awesome WR to grow with.

I wouldn’t say the situation is bad...I’d go with typical and normal with this franchise.

Starts at the top
Dan had to go get his QB lol and once again it blew up in his face |

Bye DH A damn joke
I'd call the Giants and see if they want to swap Haskins for Colt McCoy. He'd be our new starter and Jones is about to lose his job anyways, he's worse than Haskins. Daniel has 17 INTs and 22 fumbles in 18 games! |

What if Dan gets a boner for Trevor . . . and we’re picking, say, 4th? |

If Ron is being honest, Dan has no say anymore |

Not a great choice of words after our offseason in Redskins Park. |
Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
Ron says the same shit every Presser lol "Well we just have to keep working"
TANK MODE |

It would take the greatest king’s ransom of all time. I do not see anyone moving out if that spot for short of 4 firsts. Lol |
Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
If the QB field is as loaded as everyone says we shouldn't be talking about trying to trade up to the number 1 pick. Also this concept of tanking in the NFL seems crazy to me. Has there ever been a team that has tanked for a draft pick that went on to win a super bowl with that player? This isn't the NBA or NHL

Colts did it for Luck and Manning |

I don't think they tanked for Manning they were perennial bottom feeders in the 90s. They did tank for Luck but they never won a conference or a super bowl with him. That wasn't on him it is just the quintessential team sport. |
Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
RR isn't tanking, he's just not going all out to win, and that's the way I like it. Tanking would undermine the good players we do have left. Better to go 4-12 or 5-11, pick 2nd/3rd/4th and take the best player/deal and still have some hope that we can at least get the ship pointed in the right direction next spring. Next year he can give it more gas when he expects to be more competitive and by year 3 be in the mix and have a solid roster to cope with the vagaries of FA.

I agree. He's in a full evaluation, house-cleaning mode and while it won't be fun to watch this year, it should pay off in the future. He's not only getting rid of those without the talent, he's cleaning up the culture by not tolerating any off-the-field problem children : Dunbar, Latimer, Guice... |
