Maybe we should just suck another year. I think both Bryce Young and JD Stroud are draft eligible after next year.
So who says we're not gonna suck another year? Chances are you'll get your wish. |
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
2021 Draft was really good for top 10 offensive playmakers
1.4 Pitts 66 catches 1,018 yds 1.5 Chase 79 1,429 1.6 Waddle 99 988 1.10 Smith 61 875 |
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Fuck it, give up our #1 this year and next year and Daron Payne and grab Russ Wilson.
|
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
That is ridiculous, Wilson is on the decline.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Drafting a T is still perfectly fine. But, now we have options. Hopefully we can sign a younger Lucas type guy.
9: R1 P9 - WR Garrett Wilson - Ohio State 41: R2 P9 - QB Carson Strong - Nevada 73: R3 P9 - S Daxton Hill - Michigan 111: R4 P9 - LB Brandon Smith - Penn State 188: R6 P9 - CB Steven Gilmore - Marshall 228: R7 P9 - RB Jashaun Corbin - FSU |

I'd do that. |

I'm right on the fence on this one. Drop next years pick to 2nd round, and I'd be all in. I definitely would not be upset though, if the trade as Mooby stated, went down. He has at least another 3 or 4 years in him. And this team needs to win asap. |
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
It is fine to do but he has a no trade not coming here
|
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Yeah, not likely. Just saying we would sign off on it if we were asked to...lol

Why would Seattle do this? Wilson isn't going anywhere. Wilson when healthy is still a damn good QB. It was obvious his hand was still injured. |
Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I'd say the more likely trade candidate at this stage was Tua, and I for one am not interested. For me he's a poorer version of Murray and he can't stay on the field.
I'd be more interested in Watson than Wilson, if it were not for his legal issues; I'd say now, with the Texans losing trade value week on week, it would be a similar cost for either of them and for me Watson offers better long term value. I just don't see either of them coming here. Forget AR; given his statements this week, I'd say bridges are mended with GB and with Adams likely tagged next year, if not resigned, he'll more than likely finish his career in GB. Now if we feel he's got the value, maybe it's worth looking at Love? Will he happily sit behind Rodgers for for another 2-3 years? I doubt it and GB could use the trade capital to pick up a new QB in '23 or '24. Win/win? |

Wilson when healthy is still a damn good QB. It was obvious his hand was still injured.
Because Russ Wilson is secretly involved in a 3 way love triangle with the team masseuse and Pete Carroll. One of them has to go and it won't be Pete. |

That brings up an interesing point. Lets say we draft a 2022 QB in the top 10 but then do suck and can draft a true franchise ranked QB in 2023. What do we do? I think we'd draft the franchise QB and shop whoever we drafted in 2022 (Cards managed to get a 2d for Rosen). |
