I hate to say it, but Clinton doesnt run hard or see the field very well anymore. Thats three games and no production. Good backs find some room. I've seen room for him to run and his choices of lanes this year have been poor. Love you Portis but something is wrong with you to.
I mentioned that somewhere and people came down on me for saying it. Like I said, we need to start from scratch, it is not a one-person f'up, the team as a whole are f'ing things up. I know it is easier said than done, but they need to rebuild. |
Re: Now What??
hahaha.. there you guys go one man to blame it all on: Tom Cruise.. That fukin bastard.

I would maybe read this if it wasn't your first post ever. Way too long for me to take time out to read this. Build your post count some before you take on something this volumous.
It was a good read even though jammed all together. Paragraphs are your friend, 3-5 sentences. ;) I agreed with everything he said except the end when he mentions we are only a few pieces away from being great. Unfortunatly we have been that way since 1994. :( |

I like it. I did the same...but I kept the red color for ol' DC. Thanks for the inspriation Ruhskins |
Are people revolting against the Skins by changing their avatar? lol
I'm doing my part, just waiting for them to put Brennan in. Yah baby!
It's the little things that count, just like Danny's pea sized brain. |
Re: Now What??
Ruh I have been thinking that since after the first half of the Giants game. Just really didn't want to express it yet thinking CP would get on a roll, but this teamTEAM AS A WHOLE is having a huge problem running the football.

I actually had that specific Portis avatar because no one else seemed to have it. Getting rid of a Redskins avatar was my way of protesting the team's awful season.
I like it. I did the same...but I kept the red color for ol' DC. Thanks for the inspriation Ruhskins
No problem. The funny thing is that I'm sure people would tell you here that I'm a Kool-Aid drinker. |

No complaints here. Ya know when there's a problem employee and the business gets rid of him but his cancer has already spread. Then they bring in a new person yet the same problems persist. I have been wondering if this is partially our problem. Although I don't know who the problem could be. Could it be Portis with his strong friendship with DS? I don't know just throwing a name out there. |

I was thinking the same thing. I can't figure out what wrong with the running game if it is Portis, the oline, or a combination of both. |
Re: Now What??
Canning Zorn would automatically trash the season, besides at this point everyone needs to go, Blache, special teams coach, even Bugel. I know folks hold Bugel in high esteem because of the hogs, but come on, what has this guy done during his second tenure? It is easy being considered a great coach pre cap, pre FA when you have the best line in probably NFL history playing for you year in and year for a decade.

From what I saw at the game it was a combo of the two. Portis didn't have too many gaps to run into today, but he also seemed to change direction sometimes actually running into defenders. I would have to rest most of the blame with the line though. |

Portis has definitely lost a step or two. |

Well when you run every first and second down and then run behind only Samuels it isn't that hard to game plan against us. |

A combination of both, but to that end Portis use to find six yard here and there with his fied vision and instict. This year he runs into the pile and takes bad running lanes. It is aso a problem with his and Synder's relationship, and also to the idea of getting rid of him he is tied up in a very HIGH contact that would basically eliminate any kind of trade or release. |

Yup, but he sure as hell hasn't lost a dime though. |
