I care because RG3 gave us, his coaches, and his team everything he had and the people who are supposed to protect him (coaches, doctors) failed him in return! Most people on here have a sick feeling in their stomach about the way this was handled and there will be repercussions to follow. Count on it!
My beef is that it happened twice, after the Ngata hit he went back on the field limping until he finally collapsed. Yesterday it was basically the same shit. Who do you trust? The report about Dr. Andrews before the game, this is our franchise player not John Beck.

RG3 is not a mentally retarded 5-year old kid here, he is also responsible. So what if that is all true, what is that going to do? Is RG3 going to miraculously get healed b/c he may have damaged his knee before yesterday? As I've said before, a lot of people f'ed up and they are paying for it. Now everyone, including RG3, need to fix this mess.

even if it was John Beck all the player safety issues make this a serious deal if it is true. You're compromising the integrity of the game.

I know, I know, nobody deserves that. All I keep thinking is seeing poor Earl Campbell on a Walker and don't want see RGIII end up like that.

Totally agree RG3 has some blame in this, if in fact these rumors are true.

No, RG3 is pretty much fckd. It will be a long recovery. As for the mess... Gotta wait for all the fallout. Redskins waited a long time for RG3 as the news breaks people will be calling for answers and it could get ugly for the Org.

But, I agree with what you are saying... Lets get it fixed.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but after years of f*cked up decisions by this organizations, this poor decision by Shanny/RG3/The Team is not as bad as all the f*ck ups we've seen before.

This is the worst single decision by far for Shanahan.

Shanny was desperate, Sh*t our whole org was desperate, we as fans were desperate, and thats why while we knew he should come out, part of all of us wanted to see him stay in the game including RG3 but thats no excuse.

Well, if it is a ACL/LCL tear i'm hoping it's not that bad. Dr. Andrews is amazing and I wouldn't be surprised to see RG3 have a Peterson type return. He has the heart and commitment but in a reality type setting. I have to wonder if this is going to be an every year thing. Will we be wondering if RG3 can play every other week because he gets hurt?

It's sad that we finally have this type of player at the QB position and our Snake Bit franchise is having to deal with this..

I will say one thing..

Shanahan doesn't look like the moron anymore for grabbing Cousins.. Might of been the best pick in the draft now.

It seems like you are going off worse cased media speculations, all of which to me are founded on a misspeak by shanahan and appearance driven guesses. Maybe it is all true and the Redskins Watergate is about to unfold in which case there will definitely be tons of fallout for everyone involved (cue Mara licking his chops), but can't we just wait a day or two before writing the epitaph for the 2013 and beyond redskins?

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Tom Brady get his chance because Drew Bledsoe got the crap knocked out of him? The sky isn't falling. Everyone is acting like we can't field a team w/out RG3. This team can still win with Kurt Cousins. We have depth now. If RG3 misses time next year then perhaps everyone learned a valuable lesson...RG3, the coaches and the doctors. Let's hope he has a speedy recovery like AP did. But if he doesn't the show must go on.
