You're not the only one. :( Best case I finish third now.

I was so pissed. What's worst, I'm sitting in first place and this team gets into the playoffs at the last minute (bumping out a team who would have been a much favorable match up).
Bush or Bell tonight? My playoff game depends on this decision, need about 11 points to win my game and get to the championship. I'm leaning Bush, got burned on him last week but I still pulled off the W.
If its a PPR; I'd go Bush. Not an ideal situation, but he's slated to get a normal workload... should catch three/four balls for 30-40 yards... right there would be 8-9 points.

I need Calvin Johnson to NOT score more than 62 points tonight; and I'm in the finals.

I, on the other hand, need R. Bush NOT to score 10 points. Not counting on that.

BTW - Sat Jordy Nelson and Le'Veon Bell who scored ~ 28 points total; played Almo and Vereen for 9 points total.

Like I said, the FF playoffs are a crap shoot. Each team has about 3 or 4 studs and it is just a question of who gets more hot players. My team gave a good effort, it was a fun year. Would have liked to made it to the finals but c'est le vie.

Bush makes me nervous, he could either blow up or limp out of the game early on. I guess I'd rather take the chance on Bush vs Bell though.

^^^ And can I add, Antonio Brown is on my personal "I hate you now and forever list".

I am with you in that I would play Bush but, you're right, to a certain extent with Bell & Bush it's a bit of a gamble. I imagine he'll get yardage and a score before leaving (even if Bell vultches a TD here or there).

BTW - for those of you watching ... yes, it's me v. Matty in the semi's.

I wasn't expecting much of anything out of Brown with all that wind, but he came through. He's been a stud. Green did enough to keep things interesting heading into tonight.

So yesterday was a really fun day for any team in any league that had Jamaal Charles. If you made the playoffs and he was on your team you won, I don't need to know anything else about your team to accurately say that, right? Just a WOW day by him.

The average points by a team in our Yahoo standard scoring league this year has been about 100 points. The guy that had Charles yesterday will be over 180 after Monday night.

Brown is a stud and has been kind of under the radar all year. As for Green, I kept thinking "C'mon, one TD catch, that's all I want ... one TD." At the same time, can't knock him. Wouldn't be in the playoffs without him.

In the league Matty and I are playing, the 2nd place team in the league (and highest scoring with almost a 100 point lead over the next team) played the J. Charles team and lost. His losing score beats everyone else but the team he played and one other (although, Matty with R. Bush may also edge him out). He got the score despite his Denver/N.O. guys crapping out at just the wrong time (Moreno, Decker, Graham who combined for all of ~11 points). I am sure he is pissed. He had a killer team all year.

Looks like a 9-5 team might end up playing a 7-7 team to win it all, lol

Re: Fantasy Football 2013 Thread

Well, the 7-7 team is the third highest scoring team in the league. You just had some average/bad weeks against some other teams best weeks of the season.
