Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I hear Pudge Heffelfinger is coming in for a visit.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I would take Thurmond too.

Think what you want to about the writer, but I find it very difficult to disagree with anything written here regarding the first 2 days of free agency. ESPN 980 - WASHINGTON D.C.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Our FA Daryl Tapp is visiting Detroit.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
we need a solid corner not too expensive and a solid safety not too expensive. Build through the draft.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Why do I get the sense that Free Agents dont want to come play in Washington? Is it the FO, organization as a whole, the new coaching staff, Haslett as D-cor? I woulda thought RG3 would have attracted more players to come on offense...
I think its a legit question, but an assumption on my part... |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
$$ always talks.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I dont think players are intentionally avoiding the skins.
I do think that the Pats and other top tier franchises may get a slight preference from players when it comes to the Revises of the world. Money talks and is the only thing that matters. Ill bet money our money will talk next year. This year lets plug holes, get healthy and see what we got. |

I heard the Mitchell deal was the same as Pittsburg offerred. Also that the Cleveland guard we got was like 3rd choice, the other 2 guys who got similar deals went somewhere else. |

Going 3-13 last season didn't help I'm sure |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Still options out there to fix the defense guys.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
There's no reason to panic. The Redskins haven't missed out on a single FA value. Revis and TJ Ward are the only players to sign with a team below their market value, and neither would have considered Washington.
The money that has been spent has been costly. Plenty of time to wait out the market. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Can you imagine where this team would be if Orakpo had signed elsewhere? They'd have $24 million in cap and no place to spend it.
