Re: We Want Dallas Game day thread!
Wow did you guys see Bryant going at it (didn't see with who, I imagine Norman) while teams were shaking hands? Fuck him.

I don't see how that can be a penalty if the ball was touched... how can we know for sure that the ball would've went out of bounds hadn't it been touched? Anyway didn't change anything. Good effort. Another one we could have one just by changing the outcome of Hopkins' kicks... |
Re: We Want Dallas Game day thread!
Bascially it just comes down to the offense can't have short comings like they did in the first half. Just can't overcome this slow, non play making defense. Honestly, we have Baker, Norman and maybe Breeland. After that we really don't have anyone that can't or shouldn't be replaced. Yeah Smith is young but he's had one good game this year. Kerrigan? Sorry but he just isn't effective. Just nothing today. He can't run and can only bull rush. Problem is he isn't big or strong enough to over power most tackles. Ricky Jean and Hood to me are just more slow un athletic bodies. No play makers at ILB. Nacho and Wittner are more guys who are just bodies. We need more guys like Cravens, young and can run and make shit happen.

Re: We Want Dallas Game day thread!
Told my bro, "If Washington gets this onside kick, we lose". Guys moved up the field at will all day. 2 more minutes on that clock and Dallas is 9-2.

Well they're going to be around a while so we might as well start getting defenders who can stop them. |

Re: We Want Dallas Game day thread!
No. The early red zone struggles in the first half cost us. That and shitty time out management.
The defense lost us the game. Gave up an opening drive TD and put the offense behind the 8 ball. Then when the offense kept scoring, they kept giving it right back. Now, we could have scored more, but 26 is solid. I'm not blaming Barry, I saw him try different things but they just lined up and kicked our butts when they had the ball. We don't have enough good players on defense to stop good offenses. See Pitt, See Dallas. But, we hung in there against a really good team and kept battling. We're 6-4-1 and still in good position for the playoffs. Just so glad we beat Minnesota and GB, those were both huge wins. Beat Arizona! HTTR!!! |
Re: We Want Dallas Game day thread!
Another positive, is we're all frustrated because we're good enough to do better. Its nice to have high expectations. We have some kinks to workout, but we're ahead of the curve.
And, I'm 100% all aboard the Cousins train now. Lets go! Love this team. Happy Thanksgiving! Next week we'll be 7-4-1. |

You nailed it...we need to get some athletes on defense that can move. Until then, there will continue to be shootouts. |
Re: We Want Dallas Game day thread!
I know nobody cares, but the kick out of bounds wasn't a penalty:
"When a kickoff goes out of bounds between the goal lines without being touched by the receiving team, the ball belongs to the receivers 30 yards from the spot of the kick or at the out-of-bounds spot unless the ball went out-of-bounds the first time an onside kick was attempted. In this case, the kicking team is penalized five yards and the ball must be kicked again. When a kickoff goes out of bounds between the goal lines and is touched last by receiving team, it is receiver’s ball at out-of-bounds spot." Source: NFL Rules Digest: Kickoff WE GOT ROBBED BIG TIME ! |
