https://www.yahoo.com/news/federal-judge-trump-and-lawyer-john-eastman-likely-committed-crimes-in-attempt-to-overturn-election-190219092.html Federal judge: Trump and lawyer John Eastman likely committed crimes in attempt to overturn election A federal judge ruled Monday that then-President Donald Trump and lawyer John Eastman "more likely than not" committed crimes in their efforts to obstruct the certification of Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 election. The extraordinary ruling by U.S. District Court Judge David Carter ordered Eastman to turn over 101 emails to the House's Jan. 6 select committee. Eastman, who had argued that the emails were protected by attorney-client privilege, formulated a legal strategy to keep Trump in office and pressured then-Vice President Mike Pence to reject the Electoral College count showing Trump had lost to Biden. |

Sure if you can find the post. For the record if Hunter is corrupt, lock him up. If Hunter has been whispering illegal things into daddy's ear and daddy is acting on them lock them both up. The Bidens are not the future of the Democratic party Chico - he's a stop gap solution who happened to win the "anybody is better than Trump" prize. |

Trump by a good distance was a better, more effective President. That’s gotta be pretty tough to deal with. |
Re: Chaos at the Capitol: New thread edition
On average, Democratic presidents grew the economy 4.4% each year versus 2.5% for Republicans.
A study by Princeton University economists Alan Blinder and Mark Watson found that the economy performs better when the president is a Democrat. They report that “by many measures, the performance gap is startlingly large.” Between Truman and Obama, growth was 1.8% higher under Democrats than Republicans. https://www.thebalance.com/democrats-vs-republicans-which-is-better-for-the-economy-4771839 Always the Democrats who have to clean up after Republicans make a mess of things with their "spend, spend, spend" philosophy. Thankfully there are adults in charge during this international crisis. Hell, some Republicans wants to get rid of Social Security and Medicare to pay for all the Republican spending under Trump. |

it was a troll post meant for Chico. Take some numbers without context ... then attach broad brush blame to your political enemy. I should have added, "Why do Republicans hate America so much?" Re: Chaos at the Capitol: New thread edition
Getting back to trumps/chico's people who were peacefully protesting..............
https://news.yahoo.com/man-faces-sentencing-bringing-guns-100916386.html WASHINGTON (Reuters) - An Alabama man on Friday could be sentenced to more than three years in prison for bringing a pickup truck full of firearms, ammunition, and Molotov cocktails to Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, when former President Donald Trump's supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol. Lonnie Coffman, 72, who already pleaded guilty to possessing unregistered firearms, is due to face a federal judge at 10 a.m. ET (1400 GMT). Coffman faces 37 to 46 months in prison under federal sentencing guidelines. U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, who is hearing Coffman's case, has the authority to go below that range. Coffman has been in custody since his arrest on Jan. 6, 2021, and his lawyer has argued that further incarceration is not warranted in light of his age, health, remorse and acceptance of responsibility. Police officers arrested Coffman near the Capitol after noticing the handle of a gun in his pickup truck while they were responding to pipe bombs left outside the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee, both of which are near the Capitol. Inside Coffman's truck, officers found an AR-15-style rifle, a shotgun, a crossbow, several machetes, smoke grenades and 11 Molotov cocktails. They also found a note with the name of at least one member of Congress and a judge, alongside the notation "bad guy." Prosecutors said at the time that the combination of weapons and political messages “suggest that these weapons were intended to be used in an effort to violently attack our elected representatives.” |
