now let's not go overboard... if we could get a 3rd for JC, i really think we'd pull the trigger. A high 4th would be tempting, but its my understanding we wont even get that.
I would love to see a full year behind a decent line but if they pulled the trigger, I wouldn't bash them.

So we can't even get a 3rd rounder for him? I guess the move to pick JC has to rank right up there with trading picks for Brunnell, Duckett and Lloyd. Boy did Vinny and Joe Gibbs (the personnel guy) suck.
And didn't you say a third in next year's draft?
That was one of the possibilities mentioned but included us adding another player to sweeten the pot.

At the moment, if it's just Campbell. We're talking conditional 4th at best
That is what blows my mine how does a guy like Whitehurst get so much compensation but no one will give us a nickle for JC?

I guess teams see JC as he is as good as he is going to be but whitehurst might be the real thing.
I think that is how people see it, or the Seahawks are just dumb. Whitehurst is older than Campbell I think

Seattle got robbed blind, I'm still shaking my head at that deal.

Actually Campbell is older by like a year, I just looked it up. It is so crazy I don't see how folks think this guy Whitehurst is so great.

Campbell is about 9 months older, born in '81...Charlie was born in '82.

Is he a hockey player or just a big fan of Billy Ray Cyrus?

I don't think Porter's even meeting with the Redskins until tomorrow anyway. As I understand, there is an offer from the Cardinals on the table for him but we'll see what, if anything, the Redskins offer

Probably has to do with Norv Turner a good QB coach. Seattle probably looking to put in the same kind of OF & want a QB that knows it.
