Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
It's funny that as much as the term "football shape" was on Redskins news, people are not concerned about the toll that Jackson's hold out has on his "football shape". Case in point, Darrelle Revis, probably the best CB in the league, seems to have been sidelined by a hamstring injury. Many speculate that Revis' issues may stem from not being at camp and getting his body in football shape.
After tonight's massive air attack, I don't think we have much of a WR issue. Definitely not worth paying the price that it will cost to get this guy. So I think this issue is pretty much dead.
It wasn't a hamstring injury. He simply suffered a bruised ego on the Moss TD reception. I personally found it hilarious when I learned that not only did he leave the game after pulling a "hamstring" but it happened during that play. Obviously thats why you don't talk trash like that. Any other day the whole world would have given Revis the benefit of the doubt, now it looks like he couldn't live up to covering a slouch. Everyone saw the built in excuse coming from a mile away. I just never thought he would cash it in. |

Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
If the Vikings get Jackson,we will have the honor of facing Vincent Jackson,Sidney Rice,Percy Harvin,Bernard Berrian,Greg Camarillo and Greg lewis.
It might look a lot like last nights game,if we can't cover them. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
Rice is done for the year, Harvin is obviously not healthy, Camarillo and Lewis are just warm bodies for the depth chart. Right now, Old man Berrian is their only effective WR.
That's why they're considering V-Jax. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
well, i for one hope we pull something out our ass to get him here
Jax that is |

All he had to do to get that offer was talk to the Redskins. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
3-way trade
----------------------------------- Chargers=get Brandon Jacobs Giants=get Albert Haynesworth Redskins=get Vincent Jackson And then reality sets in for me...lol Chargers are stubborn sons of beaches |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"

Seems like a good plan to follow, while your trades are annoying and make no sense. |
Re: V. Jackson "Prepared to Sit out season"
I gotta agree with Sir Clinton here Ace, you must smoke some good stuff for some of the trade scenarios you have came up with. I don't mean to bash ya, but you don't have to post every crazy trade scenario you can come up with!

And why would they consider him to be an equal commodity in a Jackson / Haynesworth trade? As long as we're playing this game, why don't we trade Heyer for Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, and the Colts #1 pick! |
