Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
I let him walk now or extend him, likely the former. I don't go into next off-season with a lame duck HC
Have you heard that may be the word round town? |

What are you talking about? |
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
How about Greg Roman?
|
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
SF and I have been high on Roman for a while

They have a lot of good coaches in the wings. I think if we don't grab them then someone else will. I just don't want a retread situation. |

yeah I say no to Gruden or cowher jerry or jerruh jones once said "No super bowl winning coach has ever won a SB with more than 1 team as a HC" |
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
Only coach I would consider taking over for Shanahan is Briles

Your conciseness on the fork in the road and which direction you're looking. I thought you'd back Shanny to the (bitter) end. |
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
I don't want a college coach , historically they don't work out. Has he ever coached in the NFL?

Historically a lot of college coaches do work out. It's about finding the right one. The guy averages over 700 yards of offense a game in college and was RG3 Head Coach. Here is a nice article on him about his playbooks. Who has worked out besides JJ? |

Because I don't think he's a an asshole doesn't mean I think he should be the HC here |
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
NTM Briles is almost 60, we need a young gun in here
|
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
I guess i'll never get the obsession over "young guns" people thrive for. If the coach can coach.. Who cares his age? He's not going out and catching passes.
|
Re: Who's your pick's for next HC, DC and OC?
true but teams lately seem to be thriving under younger coaches,
PITT, BAL , SF etc. |
