Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
2 picks and a TD last year.
Started all 16 games. Former second rounder. 27 years old Tracy Porter, CB for the Oakland Raiders at NFL.com Porter was signed by the Oakland Raiders to a one-year contract on April 2, 2013 worth $2.5 million. In a game against the New York Giants on November 10, 2013, Porter became the first player in NFL history to return an interception for a touchdown against both Peyton and Eli Manning. |

as much as I hate the guy... I think a camp battle between them would be the best thing for the team.. see who plays better in camp and pre-season and go with them on the roster, best case scenario after signing a one hit wonder from 6 years or so ago... great move guys... not happy with it. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Christ prolly better off just drafting a guy rather than paying this clown any money. ugh.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
ranked 105 out of 110 CB..... trying him at safety ?
I hope there is no guaranteed money |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Really!!?! you are going to base your criticism on him on his stint with Oakland!?!?!
Shocker!!!! another CB fails in Oaktown |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
After day 1, I don't get our FA strategy thus far. I'm glad we didn't spend a ton of money for a big name player, but why have we not locked up more mid tier players? Tracy Porter, one of the worst CB's in the league is who we get? What/Who are we saving our money for? It makes no sense.

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
This shit show isn't going as expected with this front office so far. Good thing I don't have high expectations for the upcoming season.

It's not fair to Porter to judge him based on one season with the Raiders... I don't think this is a bad signing, but it's just another "meh" move; like all the other FA signings so far. I certainly haven't been impressed by our FO so far. We could have had Geoff Schawrtz or Jon Asamoah for a few million more a year than we gave Lavuao. We could have landed TJ Ward for around 5 million/year. We could have signed Alterraun Verner, one of the best young corners in the game, for less than 7 million/year. I won't mind that so much if we draft and develop well, and in turn, it translates into wins in January, but like KI Skins Fan said yesterday, "WHERE'S MY PONY?" |
