Re: 2015 Redskins Coaches/Coordinators News
Not even close. The biggest myth perpetuated by fans is that Tom somehow carries the Patriots. Belichick has surrounded Tom with very good talent his whole career.
Here is what a Patriots fan answered when this question was asked: Q: What is a pet peeve you have about your favorite team that fellow fans tend to ignore/support? A: Fans who don't understand that Belichick has surrounded Brady with very talented teams. dmacisabeast comments on [Serious] What is a pet peeve you have about your favorite team that fellow fans tend to ignore/support? Neither Brady, Rodgers, Luck, nor Manning would make this team a contender.
Belicheat hasn't always given Brady talent. Let's not forget the year that Brady's best target was Reche Caldwell or how they never have a established RB (although they may have that with Blount now). That being said, Belicheat has gone 11-5 without Brady. Rodgers or Brees would make our team a solid team, possibly a contender; Luck maybe. Brady and Manning could technically, but these are guys that are used to having things in place. However, our team has always put a young, inexperience, or mediocre QB behind a terrible line with no support from the defense or special teams. Our team is never going to win until they improve the o-line, defense, and special teams; and have these units help in the development of the QB. |

While watching the Pro-bowl last night, they showed TW talking to Smith OT for the cowgurls. I swore I heard him asking about Callahan and Smith said he's OK.

Per rotoworld
Huh? Is this the same guy that played for University of Miami back in the 80's?? I assume he must be working for someone's front office. |
Re: 2015 Redskins Coaches/Coordinators News
You know he went 11-5 the year Tom was out with a torn ACL right?
Brady is the number one reason the Patriots have had sustained success. Not BB. End of discussion. Matt Cassel was fortunate to play for an 18-1 team that was coming off one of the best seasons ever. That was still a very strong team. See what happened to Cassel once he left NE? |

Attention, Raheem Morris has left the building:

Belechick makes back ups look like starters.
But without Brady things would have been a lot different. Brady is to the NFL what Patton was to tank warfare. |

Thank goodness. Not so much because I thought he was a terrible coach, more that I'm just glad that keeping Morris wasn't a factor in not getting Fangio. Hard to tell if Morris did an average job or a bad job if you ask me. Talent was dreck. But at least we can say he didn't spin straw into gold, so you can't say he did a good job. He got dreck out of dreck, at best an average job. |
Re: 2015 Redskins Coaches/Coordinators News
if we had brady, we'd be a 10 win team.

Bon voyage Mr. Morris and thank you for your time and service. Like everyone has said ... hard to know what he did and didnt do as a casual observer looking in from the outside. |
