This is true but he won’t do shit without WRs. VD was out go to guy when the game was on the line much like last year. Harris should replace JD. |
We should double down on the D and try become elite.
I like the idea of investing in the defense and O line. It looks like we are going to be wondering through the wilderness for a few years looking for a QB. In the meantime, being able to keep games close should be a priority.
I agree with this. Build your best unit into a great unit, then do everything else. Plus defense is and always will be the most important. |
Cousins had the same weapons last year and threw for 4k yards. The sad part is that Alex had his best passing game today and the OL got hurt and D didn’t show up.
No, Cousins had LESS than Alex. Our offensive line was missing everyone most of the year, Reed and Chris Thompson were injured most of the year, and we didn’t have AP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The Colt McCoy fanclub so loyal. Lets give Alex at least a full season here.
Alex has had a full career already. He is who he is and on the downside of his career. Neither him or Colt is the answer to our pain. Not even close. |

If that was his best passing game I do not want to see his worst. He is fucking awful. His accuracy stinks. His arm strength stinks. He is a shit sandwich. |

This is just Alex Smith's first year in the system....he's not really regressing and he's not progressing either....is he a stop gap? Colt McCoy is a veteran backup and nothing more....I would like the Redskins front office to invest a 2nd or 3rd round pick in Buffalo Bulls young QB Tyree Jackson and have him learn under Smith and McCoy. |
Re: Skins vs Falcons Game Day Thread
If Todd Bowles gets fired this offseason, I would call his ass to be our DC.

Kirk is the better passer nobody has said otherwise. Alex is the smarter safer QB. At the end of the day we still need weapons that scare teams, we dont have that. |

Disagree, McVay as a coach or any decent QB would bring out their potential, I guarantee Docton or Crowder gets cut they would be picked immediately by someone. |

Crowder is a good #3 but hes been hurt all yr. Mcvay has a LOADED and I mean LOADED offense, yes hes a great offensive mind and I miss the guy but lets not act like they are not good at every skill pos. Josh is not a #1 WR, he wasn't with Kirk either, its time to face the facts that he's what he is. Reed isn't the same as he was a couple years ago, VD is old. So its not like Alex has a shit ton of help, he has a good line and a 33 yo RB. |

define immediately. Crowder will have many team looking at him. Docton wll find another team but he would be a tier 2 or 3 free agent. |

McVay would take either and have them producing and fans would be bitching, guaranteed. |

Yeah and the receivers are household names right? Brandon Cooks on his third team, Robert Wood a forgotten man in Buffalo, Cooper Kupp a mid round draft pick and so on. The reason they are producing because of Goff another so call bust under Fisher, are producing because of a creative offense and smart QB who is not afraid or is hesitant. I don’t care what fans say, we have talent at the WR position. |

I used to feel this way. I blamed Kirk for not utilizing his WRs. KC has the NFL Leading WR in yards right now. Doctson isn’t a starter in this league but he will be on someone’s roster. |

I’m on the Doctson bandwagon and don’t give a shit what anybody says about him. |
