Makes me sick thinking if he was still here starting 3-4 more years and we didn't have to draft a LT. HIPAA prevents FO from saying their side of story in tumor, but given their history, I tend to think TW is not simply lying and they botched some part of treatment or communication. |
Depending on what the latter rounds are, but it seems like a win-win situation for both teams.
Mahomes is 25 and already in 2 SBs. Crazy. Give KC credit for AGGRESSIVELY correcting OL and protecting their golden goose. No reason Mahomes can't play until 35 or longer. . . Imagine if Colts had done this with Luck. You look at what KC just traded, drafting LT if one falls makes sense. Only thing worse than having no franchise QB is having one and no franchise LT. When's the last time someone traded that much for a MLB? |

I try not to think about it. Texans gave up 2 first rounders, and 1 second rounder for Laremy Tunsil (and Kenny Stills). Laremy Tunsil. Damnit. I'm thinking about it again. |

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
Bruce handling of Trent was the coup da grace of the franchise damaging decisions in his reign of incompetence
I’ll never understand it |
Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
Trade details per Schefty:
Kansas City gets: OT Orlando Brown 2021 second-round pick (No. 58) 2022 6th round pick. Baltimore gets: 2021 first-round pick (No. 31), third-round pick (No. 94), fourth-round pick (No. 136) 2022 fifth-round pick Also, it looks like Ravens may be looking to sign Villanueva as a replacement for Brown: @jamisonhensley By trading Orlando Brown to Chiefs, Ravens is expected to replace him at right tackle with Alejandro Villanueva. Deal likely won't become official until after draft, but Villanueva visited Ravens on Thursday. So, Ravens add some picks and won't have much dropoff with Villanueva
You know Baltimore got a haul here...I like the move for both, but no way should the skins entertain giving all that for him. Especially with this draft of high caliber talent at Tackle |
Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
The Ravens had a player worth a haul, and needed to move him for several reasons. So this trade became possible.
This is NOT something I am looking forward to but it IS something we will be faced in the near future .... https://www.hogshaven.com/2021/4/18/22390365/putting-some-salary-cap-numbers-to-the-task-of-keeping-the-defensive-line-together-revised Hopefully .... we will be able to at least get some draft capital back via trade when we are forced to make these difficult decisions with our talented D-Line and the salary cap restraints we will surely bump into. Again, I want to keep this group together as long as possible. And I plan on enjoying every minute we have them together. |

I’ll never understand it
The cherry on top of the sundae of incompetence. His ego is why we only got two 3rds and a 5th for a franchise qb and left tackle. His handling of Shanahan, direct involvement in Donovan McNabb, the RG3 situation, I mean god damn he should've gotten 5 years at best. Fuckin' A we actually regressed more over the last 10 years than Dan's first 10 years. Seriously consider, when was the last time we sold high on a player? We have a reputation for ruining their reputations and then selling low. Allen, Cerrato, Snyder. 3 skidmarks on the 20 year dirty tighty whities that is Snyder's ownership. |

Schefter wasn't lying, this might be the greatest draft related sound byte I've ever heard lol. https://twitter.com/BackAftaThis/status/1385937912676683783 Full clip with Kiper's criticism. |

Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
James gave up rugby due to injury. Basketball is only the second choice. How strong is James' real rugby level?
James used to be a wide receiver for the high school team. In his second year of high school (four years in high school in the United States), he was selected to Ohio's best team first team. In fact, it has proved that James has the potential to become a professional football wide receiver for the NFL. |
