Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
I still think Beck gets the nod.

Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Should be interesting to hear the reactions when we know the starter.
Yes.. Jason "I cant read coverages" Campbell
I'll pass.. I would like to make a move and trade Stallworth to Carolina for Klausen
JC still looks like a better option than what we have. Shanny has given any opportunity for one of our contenders to step it up, and you know what? Both have had ho hum preseasons. |
Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Funny, but not hard to believe some are down on Beck after last night. The last preseason game is as worthless as they come.
Matty, Beck looked decent his first go around, Rexy also. Since then nothing very special. After all the great moves Allen did in the FO to give us a nice pool of talent, for Shanny to risk it all on hoping a medicore QB will turn All Pro all of a sudden is a bit discomforting. |

WHAT is being risked? The team is rebuilding and nothing more. The QB of the future is not yet on the payroll. These guys may prove to be a nice deviation for the upcoming season, they are but place holders for the future. |

Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Fellas, fellas, face it we are razor thin at QB this season. Anybody thinking Beck is going to be a lucky pickup at this point is simply delusional.
Thanks for the insight Coach. I find this comment about our QB situation quite funny coming from a guy with the screen name of Gus Frerotte. Irony. |

We don't need an all pro, just someone who can get the job done and execute the offense. |

What is being risked? The entire 2011 season and then some. Little Danny might not be as patient as we think he is. Do you think Danny is going to excuse another sub 500 season? Maybe, but I am worried he will revert back to his old ways. |
Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Am I one of the only people around here that thinks Rex did a really excellent job running the offense this preseason?
You know he only did it against the STEELERS and RAVENS fist team defenses. It's not like he was facing the Tampa Bay Bucs and their vaunted second stringers I'll give you that. I don't think Beck's preseason body of work was even close to Grossman. I have no clue what football games these reporters and many of you were watching when I hear people say that the two performances were pretty equal, because they absolutely were NOT. What I saw from Grossman was a QB that has matured, one who was able to make very stout defenses nervous. UHHHHHHH we can win football games with that type of QB play. |
Re: Who do you want to start at QB?
Grossman was Grossman.
I really didn't see anything different than what we saw last year. |

Rex was doing Rex... He'll throw for 400 against Pitt, but throw for 120 and 4 turnovers against the Rams |
