Then why haven't we signed them if that's the plan? I don't get the strategy of playing hard ball when we have so many holes to fill, money to spend and no first round draft pick... If they really want a player, we are going to have to overspend a little... We are a franchise in constant turmoil, a rookie HC and were 3-13 last year...

How about Carlos Rogers? Familiar with D, can cover, solid with 49ers. Why not sign him back? He might have stone hands but can cover.

Convert him to safety and laugh every time he gets burnt standing right beside the receiver while he catches a touchdown.

is Quinton Demps a free agent? Michael Huff too.

Demps would be an amazing pickup more upside than Byrd with the right coaching.

Um, no thanks. Been there done that. Rogers has limited ball skills. I like the Porter signing.
