Do not know of any rule that prohibits it. In the NFL, if there is no rule to prohibit something, it is OK - - until they say it is not OK.

Are we talking about the same Zorn? the QB coach turned Redskin HC that couldn't get the colors right and didn't have a clue as to how to fix the offensive disaster that was on the field?

Clearly your not talking about the same Zorn and using the term "QB whisperer" in the same sentence. See I'm one of those idiots who just seems to mis the sarcasm sometimes.

As Wade Phillip has shown, a coach can be a good coordinator/position coach and be a terrible head coach.

ok so all we need is for andrew luck and justin blackmon to go into a nightclub and make it rain with some strippers and shoot their guns up in the air. That starts a huge controversay and helps our chances of getting both players. We also need David Decastro to tell the 31 other teams that he is gay.

Then we have all 3 players!

He just wasn't cut out for HC. But as a position coach he's well regarded. He must be doing something right, he keeps finding work.

Something to be said for someone who needs to constantly look for work.. wanted or not.
