I'm sure they know whether it's a torn ACL or partially torn at this point? They don't have to wait for surgery to determine initial damage
Not necessarily. Even an MRI doesn't always show the whole story. Probably have to scope it to know the full extent. |

You're running with the wrong crowd then
As for the RG3 ACL which no one has been able to give a consensus correct report on, the big thing which some of you are missing here is not that he (possibly) tore his ACL, but that he has re-tore the same ACL from college, which means longer road to recovery. Showing that AP and Philip Rivers went back to normal in 8 months doesn't mean RG3's going to get better that quickly.
Every case is definitely unique |
Re: As long as RGIII is 100% for 2013 training camp...
Part of the problem is the turf at Fedex.
Just ask AP, RGIII and Chris Clemons. |

Believe me I see it all the time in my line of work. MRIs are totally abused in how readily they are prescribed these days. |

We also saw Wes Welker come back relatviely quickly from an ACL injury, Carson Palmer came back early but was never the same. I am taking the wait and see approach before I get all gung-ho about everything.

Yup. He's not the first guy to injure his knee, or even re-injure his knee. Plus he's young, in great shape, is highly motivated, and will receive top notch treatment. |
So I'm hearing we'll get news on the knee today
He''ll be arriving at Dr. Andrews' office around 1:30. So nothing before then |
