Hopefully these interviews can happen asap even though some guys are employed by teams still alive in the playoffs. Sounds like they are turning over every actual rock in the football landscape, that is going to take a long time. Gotta start as close to today as possible.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. RR's a well respected and highly regarded man and coach who didn't get it done here.

I'm not saying highly regarded is a bad thing...it's important. I just want a GM/HC combo that will produce results. Time will tell, but so far, what has been reported about the search looks promising.

I like that all of the top candidates are in the conversation.

In the past there was no way we'd have a shot at even sitting down with most of these guys. It's a whole new ballgame without Snyder.

He would be a seamless fit with Eugene Shen. Add Joe Hortiz as GM and the trio of former coworkers would get off the line faster than a Corvette.

I had a coworker as in a meeting today if I was interviewing to be head coach of the Commanders. I told him those days are behind us my friend.

It's like playing a video game, where to advance to the next objective we need to find the key so we can unlock the door.

The key was Snyder selling, and now we've unlocked the door. No telling how many bright minds declined an interview here because they didn't want to work for Snyder.

I like to think Ron played some role in convincing Dan to sell. At some point someone probably had to convince him to take the money and run. And for that alone, I thank Ron. This time feels different.
