Re: Troy Palomalu
Oh boy here we go.:) I like Taylor the football player, but beloved he's not. I have had a problem with him since he snubbed our beloved head coach back in the summer. I'm sure I'll get over it.
ok, i can't argue with you about that. maybe i should not have said "beloved". how about "talented". |

Talented indeed. |
Re: Troy Palomalu
Who would you rather have-Palomalu or Taylor? I'd take Taylor in a heartbeat. Palomalu doesn't tackle or cover as well. And while he recovers a lot of fumbles, he rarely forces them. He's a product of circumstance. He's on a beast of a defense. That's the point of this thread, is to relate Palomalu to the rest of his underappreciated defense. He's really not as great as some here make him out to be. I mean if you've got John Madden noticing your inconsistencies, then you've definately been very visibly inconsistent, because that guy misses a lot.

Re: Troy Palomalu
we'll all just have to agree to disagree... and i vehemently disagree that he's overrated- the guy can flat out play the safety position, regardless of scheme. he started out the gates slowly his rookie year, but by the end of last season he was getting it. troy will only get better.
