Re: Best blockers: Football Scientist
Can anyone tell me why the hell are we comparing our players? Is this a case of a solution in search of a problem?
Because we on this board wield a tremendous amount of power when it comes to who will be starting on the O-line and who we draft/sign next year. Didn't you know that most of us on this board work in the 'Skins front office or are coaches? |

Yup... by the way when's our next pay raise ? (after or before we win the superbowl) |

I actually get paid on a commission basis. Every time I mention that Patrick Ramsey should replace Brunell or that Lavar Arrington should have stayed on the team and I manage to get someone all worked up, I get paid. There's also a performance bonus for hijacking threads. |

There's also a performance bonus for hijacking threads.
So just in this post alone - you get paid twice for commission and then a performance bonus for this hijack. |

Damn straight. There is however a tax for mentioning Question #3...ah shit. |
Re: Best blockers: Football Scientist
?3 hasn't been mentioned in a while, might be time to bring it back!

Actually the penalty for mentioning Question #3 is somewhat offset by the bonus for hijacking the thread yet again. Woot! |

if this guy was high, would it make him a hijack?
That looks like me during my senior year of college. Back on track, what is the contract situation of all of our linemen? Are they all pretty secured for at least the next couple of years? |
Re: Best blockers: Football Scientist
Contract expirations:
Jansen - 2008 Thomas - 2009 Rabach - 2010 Dockery - 2006 Samuels - 2011 |

Re: Best blockers: Football Scientist
i think this is one of the cases of a redskins thread going off topic. We all promised to try and not do this so I am doing my part.

Re: Best blockers: Football Scientist
I, for one, would still say that thomas is better.
if you had to choose betwen the 2 you cant tell me you would take dock over thomas, can you? in docks defense i should say that i have noticed a huge improvement over the last season compared to early on. he was always good for 2 penaties a game whether it be false start or holding.but you dont hear his name called that often and that is usually a good thing.
Well Dock is younger and a lot cheaper and we haven't seen Thomas on the fixed ankle yet. Dock was an All-American at Texas, he still has upside. That being said, Thomas was awesome last year before he was hurt. |
