Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
Now we see why they made the move for Rumph.
Talented, but injury prone. It confounds me to think of him perhaps replacing another injured player. We were lucky with Walt Harris, we did manage to get a few games out of him. With our salry cap being the way it is, and with little talent available at the position we have to take on these guys for depth because they're talented and cheap but don't offer any security long term. I guess we're spoiled into either wanting or needing a career player at every position though we know it's not going to happen. |

Unless I see a link, I think you're lying. |

My minor in college was cultural studies (for some unknown reason) but I don't remember learning about that. I must have been hungover that day. |
Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
I checked Redskins.com and I heard that he is having "THERAPY" not surgery!!
I think we jumped the gun on this one boys. |

Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
We seem to have about 1,000,003 WRs right now, can any of them also play DB?
Wasn't it Troy Brown who played corner for NE a year or so ago? |
Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
According to Redskin Radio, Springs will be out a "few weeks" and will have SURGERY to repair a groin issue regarding muscle attachment to the bone. Ouch.
|
Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
Brown, that's right. I knew one of NE's receivers did it but I couldn't remember which. I wonder if any of the Skin's WR could do that. Doubtful

Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
surgery or therapy? Pick one, and show me a link.
|
Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
I think if it was a sugery it would be up on the site by now.
I think what may have happened is that they were discussing the injury in general and concluded that it was similiar to Hall's, which if he had sugery would take about 2-3 wks to heal. But that's a lot different from 'Shawn Springs is having sugery." |
Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
bunch of bull if you ask me. why no link? because its made up, thats why

The procedure was performed by Dr. William Meyers at the Durham Regional Hospital. |

Doesn't sound like a serious surgery at all. It was already done today which means he'll have plenty of time to recover!!!!! |
Re: Shawn Springs to have surgery
Well there it is in writing as well I heard it on the new Redskins radio here in Richmond Va. and Larry Michael reported surgery, but did not know how long he would be out.
