Re: If Moss is out - can ARE and Lloyd step up?
You guys KILL me with this Brunell stuff. The man CAN throw the ball to other people. He'll be fine, and he'll have a freakin rocket on him after sitting out for so long and resting.
No you kill me! When the hell are you gonna throw that Brunell towl in you've been wavin'? Can't you see that this Brunell thing ain't workin? Will he have a rocket on him or rust? There comes a time in every athletes life when he has to look in the mirror and face reality. Father Time is blitzing right up the middle and he can't get out of the way! The future is now! |

WHAT I SEE - is that he's our ONLY chance to make the playoffs THIS YEAR. You guys are so busy thinking about next year that you've all thrown in the towel THIS YEAR. Instead of sitting around bashing him all season I'm going to stand behind him. I would like to see a few more good games, and I would HOPE that now that our D is healthy that he can step up a bit more. The time IS NOW, not tomrrow. Makes more sense, I think!! |

You say that you're going to stand behing him but if he loses this week and you're sitting at 2 - 6 with the only real chance to make the playoffs is if you go 8-0 the next weeks would you still be behind him |
Re: If Moss is out - can ARE and Lloyd step up?
No, he's going to be standing behind US because he will have butt-raped us and the team for the entire season.

Re: If Moss is out - can ARE and Lloyd step up?

That's a whole lot of "ifs".. To answer your question, YES, I'll still be behind him becuase I want to see a few more good games this year. Especially against the Giants. You're way up there on your horse for being 4-3 right now, don't you think? New QB and all. You all may very well fall short yourselves. Any given Sunday. |
Re: If Moss is out - can ARE and Lloyd step up?
Has Sean Taylor met Tony Romo yet?
Poor Romo...... |

Poor Romo......
TO is afarid of ST... it cracks me up the way he tries to avoid him... haha... |
Re: If Moss is out - can ARE and Lloyd step up?
Although I never wish on players sitting out, I am kinda looking forward to this game bc the fact Brunell does not have Moss. I want to see if he is only gonna throw to Cooley and Betts, or if he is gonna mix it up.
Plus I think you guys are forgetting Patten and Trash. Atleast Trash will be active, and Brunell has shown that he can throw to Trash about 5 times a year. |

Most definately. I would have to go and dig up the stats, which I am too lazy to do. But I think T.O. as an Eagle and this year as a Cowboy has had some of his worst games ever, statistically. I don't know if it is the scheme we run agaisnt him, or just luck, but I would like to think it is the former. I do not remember how he did agaisnt us when he was on the niners, does anyone else know? |
